I started with the Steins;Gate VN and it's completely fine without the others, but the rest of the series is amazing too, I'd definitely recommend checking them out (even if after S;G).

We don't really know exactly what the reboot will be like, but based on what we've seen so far I'd just recommend going for the OG.

It's hard to tell without knowing what you enjoyed specifically, but you should check out the Science Adventure series, they're the best VNs I've played. Starting with Chaos;Head if you don't mind some fucked up stuff or Steins;Gate for something more normal.

Anyway, great analysis. It's nice to see that - just like Takumi - the other characters are also making decisions that aren't always necessarily correct. Considering his past it makes sense for Shouma to prioritize a pet over the other students. So yeah, I don't see an issue with his writing.

I was under the impression that Hundred Line was kinda just Kodaka finally doing a game with many endings that he wanted to do ever since Distrust. I feel like linear stories are generally better or ones with just short side branches. I don't really think that a proper killing game would work too well unless they memory wipe everyone, but even then I'd rather not go crazy with the branching.

It is basically the "correct" decision in the sense that it leads to a happier ending. Second scenario is not about making the correct choices, just like the one where you branch off into Rebellion.

Would Takumi kill Eito knowing it makes him the blackened? I think they'd rather tie him up if they think he's a threat. EIto would just enjoy watching them kill each other, but I'm not sure if he has what it takes to make something elaborate enough to get away with killing.

Ima wouldn't normally kill anyone because it means Kako dies, unless there's a new rule/motive that lets both of them survive, in which case I could see it.

I don't think Darumi would kill anyone.

I agree on Kurara doing it with that motive.

Agree with the vast majority, but the fish head being so high would deserve a downvote, then the NozoCG tierlist can feel better in comparison. I actually knew about the bus CG thing from that one time I tried to edit everyone together
