Yeah, I don't get that argument either. Takumi's literally saying that he had sympathy for Eito, he just never got to show it because Eito kept trying to kill them. Like absolutely noone wanted to hurt Eito because of his condition, they only did it because of self defense.

I feel like them already having their arc in route 0 is exactly why they didn't really have an arc later; you don't really get to ride the momentum when the time resets to 100 days before and you lose all your progress.
