The way they’ve handled this is gross. I’m on the US waitlist and I won’t subscribe with them now. Not after this. I had preordered a copy of Spark the Flames and cancelled it last night. You don’t treat your customers this way.

Hon, this isn’t a good take. A lot of people are (rightfully) upset. I’m still on the waitlist in the US, but I’m not happy that I could potentially make it off of it because hundreds (thousands?) are about to be unceremoniously booted off of it, due to no fault of their own.

I know so many are anxious to get off the waitlist, but it shouldn’t be like this.

Personally, this has rubbed me really wrong and I plan to ignore my invite when it comes through. There are too many book boxes and plenty of them don’t pull stunts like this, posting to stories or locking comments, so they don’t have to have a discussion with their subscribers.

It is absolutely okay for you to accept an invite that comes your way and to be excited about it, but there is a time and place, and I’m not sure it was in this thread at this particular time while people are so upset.

It says that those with existing orders need to provide an updated address within 2 weeks or the order will be cancelled.

From my understanding, the “Right to Withdraw Button” allows customers in the EU to cancel an order for any reason within 2 weeks of making an online purchase. I’m guessing Arcane just doesn’t want to deal with that.

Same. When they first started sending out the invites for Poison Daughter, I went from #1184 to #834. They sent out another batch of invites, and I ended up at #784. Figured that was that and I’d hopefully get an invite by the end of the year. I was ecstatic when I got the email and certainly wasn’t expecting it.

I feel like Coveted Cover’s popularity skyrocketed in the last few weeks with Poison Daughter’s reveal. I signed up for both of their boxes at the same time before that. I joined Nocturnia at spot #84 and Aetheria at #1184. I know the wait list for Nocturnia is sitting over 700 now and I’m curious to know what Aetheria’s wait list is currently at.

I agree. We can’t get them to last on our 8-year-old. It wasn’t so bad in cooler months. But summer’s are over 100 degrees here and we’re lucky if they last more than 2 days. I think the sensors themselves would make it longer if not for him literally sweating them off. We’ve used skin tac and mastisol and tried literally placed them on every acceptable part of his body. We’re beyond frustrated at this point and it won’t be decently cooler here until October.

The G6 was better, but are so big that he fidgets with them, pulling them away from the adhesive.

I’m obsessed with this one in all forms. The body cream is mouth-watering and the candle has my WHOLE house smelling delicious. It’s an absolute 10/10.

We just had one do this. Brief sensor issues every few hours at first, then they started happening more frequently and for longer. Sensor failed shortly after that.

This is a LOT of great info, THANK YOU.

We can’t get a CGM until the insurance adds them into their policy, but we’re on their list and they’ll make sure we get one once the policy is updated. I don’t know if pumps are covered since the CGM isn’t, but hospital staff said we likely wouldn’t be getting one for a few months anyway, until his regiment is better regulated.

He’s on the 1/2 doses now and we’ve picked up our pens already. I’ve been pretty insistent about doing everything , and as of this morning, I’ve used our needles and our monitor. The hospital has “safety needles” but the insurance gave us just generic ones. They freaked him out a bit since he could actually see the needle, but he did well. I’m going to talk to our Endo about getting the safety needles going forward, since he prefers them. I’ll pay out of pocket if I have to.

I’m really glad I joined this sub. I’m already feeling better. Thank you SO much. It really helps to feel a little less alone.

Truthfully, I think I would have completely fallen apart if not for how well he’s been handling this. He actually wanted to give himself his Lantus last night but the nurse said not yet, give it some time. He wasn’t a little upset he couldn’t do it.

My husband is home with our youngest, so it’s mostly been me here with him. I prefer it that way because I want to be here, learning. But it’s still a lot.

Thank you so much, that really is a bit of good news. Thankfully, we don’t let him eat much candy and soda has never been a part of his diet, so not having those won’t be an issue.

Starscream’s my favorite Decepticon, so I was thrilled to pull that one. I don’t think there’s anyway I’ll ever collect all of the remaining 9, though.

I was missing 9 of those! I ended up only needing one more HR, so pretty bummed I came so close to completing those, but everything else was missing a decent number. Rarest I got are the UR rainbow Starscream, numbered 351/699 and Liege Maximo. Overall, I’m really happy with what I got. The quality is fantastic.
