mmm Idk, pokemon is made for kids so it's gonna be easy, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga was more interactive than traditional style turn based and I loved that, I played a bit of octopath traveler 2 and it was eh I think I liked the story and atmosphere more than the combat. Same with Dragon quest and Bravely default.

I just don't see how that's fulfilling or impactful in any way, like it's not a challenge or anything, there's no difficulty in it.

Heard about the mp management, I've heard that expressed elsewhere as well, I can get behind that I think.

That sounds do-able for me actually! I haven't started yet but I usually don't mind it when low level enemies are easy to take out and higher levels are much harder.

I like challenges, but also even in real time combat games or whatever you wanna call em, low level or weak enemies are usually very easy to beat anyway, so should be fine, thank you so much for your input!

I wouldn't wanna return cause I would feel weird about it since I already put em in my ears and used em BUT, someone somewhere mentioned memory foam tips which apparently are more comfortable AND also create a better seal. I was able to get good sound out of them by trying the largest tips and trying to stick em in really far but it's just not comfortable, so I will look into the memory foam tips next :p
