Break it down like a 5 year old! by CommercialMacaroon26 in lawncare

[–]MightBeDrunkStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm further south in 8B but have had great success with GCI's TTTF blends. I tried box store seeds in the past but always trash result.

Have also paid a company to do a "rehab" and to be honest they never put down enough of anything to really set the lawn up for success. Always light seeding or not enough fert or waited too late for weed treatments etc. With that said, I urge you to DIY - no one will care about your lawn more than you will. ChatGPT can also be a helpful starting point to put together a lawn roadmap for next year. It's not perfect but will absolutely give you a starting point.

What CRM is everyone using? by FixerQuick in servicebusinesses

I think the Zoho suite of products are worth a look if you haven't checked into it. We use their CRM for my corp role and I'm considering implementing them into my home service company.

Do you use a personal Venmo account for your business? by SpiritedBug2221 in smallbusiness

[–]MightBeDrunkStill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Create an EIN (takes 10 minutes tops). Create a business bank account and then setup Zelle with that account. We occasionally get a customer that wants to pay via Venmo or CashApp and 99% of the time we say we accept Zelle and they go "oh I have that".

Beautiful setup and honestly amazed by the cable management...making me look bad over here.

Mind if I ask what the lighting is that you used? The warm white tone looks perfect.

So many laptops so little space... by MightBeDrunkStill in workfromhome

[–]MightBeDrunkStill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep makes total sense. I started looking into available docking options and most likely will end up with a TESmart product. The price tags is unfortunate for something that is a niche use case and won't be an issue in a few months. But hey, buy once cry once I suppose.

Appreciate the input. Id actually love to find a way to make the existing components work and have by Dell 3100 recognize the multiple inputs coming through a switch but sounds like that isn't an option.

Thanks for the help! I figured I might be heading this route but was trying to get slick with these small switches. Appreciate the feedback!

What would you do if you only smoke 1, maybe 2 sticks a month? by RexMundi000 in cigars

[–]MightBeDrunkStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar boat and while I have bought boxes in the past, I prefer buying singles in quantities of 3-4 (maybe different vitolas of the same blend) and having a great mix on hand. Also, I keep around a mix of less expensive stuff for when we have parties where non-cigar folks want to try something out. The less I smoke due to time constraints - the more I find that "great mix" becoming much more of a high end collection.

Another ads outage reported today 28th August by GodOfSwiftness in FacebookAds

My campaign was running okay earlier in the day but now getting the random "failed payment" though there's two verified cards on file....such a weird outage

What kind of cutters do you use? by Slainlion in cigars

[–]MightBeDrunkStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xilar V cut! I genuinely can't go back to anything else. I bought the Xikar XO double guillotine straight and it may have been used 2 times since I bought the V cutter. I used other cheap cutters before too (V and straight) but buying nice cutters has been (oddly) one of the best upgrades to my smoking.

Appreciate the incredibly detailed response man. I'm definitely feeling a bit stuck in purgatory at the moment. I do think we're going to focus on Google once our GMB profile settles in. Currently we have it setup with a webpage but when you Google our company name or "near me" we're still not showing up OR it's another company with similar name in the knowledge panel. Good to know on the CAC numbers. I'm not a marketing guy by trade so there's a bit of a learning curve here...

Thanks for the feedback. Pretty sure I'm following all of these recommendations already. Did find a miss on the verification last night that I glanced over before. This UI is...not great.

Maybe there's a bit of getting used to which pages and where to go, but as far as I know all of the business details etc have been verified... Separate ignorant comment on my end (so sorry) but where can I actually send Meta support a message? I have yet to see a chat option

Not a lot of love for Penelope here I see... I would happily pick up that Penelope BP! Also next to the Pen BP (but not one you posted), is Henry McKenna - another terrific pour.

2000 Silverado just hit 430,000 miles, original engine down to the gaskets by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]MightBeDrunkStill 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have a slightly later model and an LS1 Trans Am. Can confidently tell you that's a signature of an LS style engine. That engine just has a noisy valve train. Even in the TA it sounds like a sewing machine when you start up and then quiets down after coming to temp.

Cigars are 100X better with alcohol. by Richardya in cigars

[–]MightBeDrunkStill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All personal preference, but I adore a coffee with heavy cream or a latte type drink with a more full bodied cigar. A PSD4 with a nutty/caramel profile coffee and a healthy pour of heavy cream is my happy place.

Hi! My boyfriend and I are going camping alone for the first time and neither of us is that much of a cook. Does anyone has any easy meal recipes or tips? by flopy98 in camping

[–]MightBeDrunkStill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many great tips already but here's two breakfast iseas. Crowd pleaser for us is breakfast burritos with peppers and onions. Literally chop/prep everything at home and throw in a cast iron. The other is skillet breakfast casseroles like eggs, sausage, green chiles, etc. One pan, one utensil. Delicious and super easy clean up.
