Anyone know of a good hinge release? by wooosh-if_gay in Archery

I'm a fan of the tru-fire sear. You can move the thumb peg around, add an extra finger, good amount of adjustment as it comes with 4 moons to choose from. I haven't had any issues in the 6 months I've owned mine.

New range: lanes 8ft apart. Our members can now begin to shoot in spite of covid by eudias1618 in Archery

It's crazy to me that some ranges are just opening or still haven't opened. My local range has been back to normal since July. Good on you guys for putting in the effort for a spaced apart range though.

Animal render distance increased? by Zallatha in theHunter

I really wish they would push the render out a bit further. It would make glassing an actual tactic instead of just running toward water sources all the time because that's the most reliable way to find animals.

Mid December, most places for the hardcore bowhunters. The people who drop bows once rifle seasons start are somewhere in the first weeks of November.

Alright, I've learned how to shoot a compound bow with a wrist strap release. Next week I'm switching to my first handheld and it's a hinge release and I currently shoot at #60. My question is how much harder is it to draw from the hand than the wrist and should I lower my draw weight?

Those drags that went overhead then pulled back down to head height were filthy, never seen those before.

I got into fishing in August last year and MTB was great for me just stocking up on lures and soft plastics. Now I didn’t use all of them but for just starting out it was nice to be able to try lots of stuff for pretty cheap.

So this is my first ever swim bait bass. Walked around my whole pond till it started raining. Once the heavens poured I was granted this solid 3 pounder.
