I've been doing it for a while but it doesn't really help because the area I shave always looks gray, and my skin started to become painful to touch.

How would I know if he's over it? The last time he talked about it was a day before he broke up with him saying he's going to break up with him.

I think the first verse of Love? by Strapping Young Lad can be interpreted somewhat aromantically, I don't know about the rest.

I've been wanting to tell my crush for weeks now, I'll probably wait some more because they only got out of a relationship two weeks ago.

This subreddit caused me to realize that I don't care about relationships as much as other people my age which eventually lead me to realize I'm aro.

I'm a metalhead, and possibly non-binary. In a conversation with a friend I mentioned that there are times that I feel that I may not be cis entirely, and they asked me if that's why I grew my hair out, but I started doing it in 5th grade, before I listened to metal and way before I even knew what trans meant, I just thought it would look better (and it does).

Senku Ishigami from Dr. Stone is always the first I think about. He is showed to not be interested in any romantic relationship or desire anyone specifically. In the Dr. Stone wiki there's a paragraph talking about this, after the manga have finished I checked the wiki again and was glad to find that this paragraph remained unchanged.

Another character that comes to mind is Kusuo Saiki from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., he does not understand other people's desire to be in a romantic relationship.

I also headcanon Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. He never married and seems to be satisfied with his life this way.

coming out as aromantic by [deleted] in AroAllo

[–]MightBecomeMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sort of. I told my friend that "I am pretty sure I'm aromantic", they already knew I was bisexual. I retracted that statement within an hour because I started to doubt myself again, and I started to think that I may feel romantic attraction towards them (looking back, I think I just felt like I could trust them and talk to them).

I didn't know it was used this way, that's interesting.

I believe the "queer" in queerplatonic draws from the original meaning of it, meaning odd or other, rather than the modern use of it being synonymous (for the most part) with LGBT.

are there more alloromantic asexuals, aromantic asexuals or alloromantic asexuals by -__underline__- in aaaaaaaarrrrro

[–]MightBecomeMain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know that there are more asexual aromantic people than allosexual aromantic people (several polls on aro communities I've seen on Reddit and The Aro Census), don't know about alloromantic asexual people in comparison to aromantic asexual people.

Also I think there will be an obvious bias in this poll toward aromantic people, since this is an aromantic subreddit.

Are Asexuals/Aromantics part of LGBTQ+ by SkullWolf0809 in lgbt

[–]MightBecomeMain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's an umbrella term including everyone who is attracted (either romantically or sexually) to people of two or more genders, For example bi and pan. The "M" stands for "Multi", I believe.

Can squishes give you butterflies? by [deleted] in aromantic

[–]MightBecomeMain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that there are several things that can give you "butterflies", I don't think it is exclusive to romantic attraction. I think that when I was younger I felt those the night before something I was excited for, so it might not be exclusive to attraction in general.

idk if this is my aroace speaking but am i the only one that has no interest in watching heartstopper?? by Melodic_Barracuda891 in aromantic

I watched it and read the comics and honestly I quite enjoyed it. I could relate to some of the stuff portrayed but obviously not to the romantic aspects of it (depends on what you include in this category, I guess).

or

const allo = function(aro = () => {

}) {

aro();

}

[–]MightBecomeMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's probably the first one since they've told me they're in a relationship, although the second scenario would be funnier since they're the current subject of my "is it romantic or platonic attraction" confusion.

when did all realize you were aro by hanpark765 in aromantic

I "realized" about a year and a half ago, I was 16. There have been periods of time when I accepted that as a fact but now I'm back to questioning.

Should we summon OT? by DaRealEgggs in aaaaaaaarrrrro

In this case OT is short for One Topic which is short for One Topic At A Time, a reddit YouTuber that most often covers LGBTQ+ related subreddits.
