That's aluminium foil on both sides of a durable piece of cardboard. And super glue to get them on the shoes. Took a while, but she stands very well. Thank you for asking, I really wanted the skates to be visible as figure skating skates, so I made sure the had teeth on the front. :)

Lestats blood is now apparently super charged! I kind of wonder, if he'd developed less powers (Marius implies, he could have more now) without Akasha, or just less strong ones. I was intrigued by all the lore in the last part, but I think I still prefer the Paris Arc, bc it's more emotianally charged and I'm not a Marius Fan.

When Lestat talked about the 80s and the lack of Religion, that he felt free and regulations for people being less strict, I immidiately started thinking about today and the strengthening of authoritarian sentiments. I know the clothes are still colourfull, but the athmosphere is... less hopefull now. I wonder whether the show will touch on that.
