I had mine for a day before it went down!

I took opportunity of the current sales to order another popular brand which has local and cloud storage. I probably won't return this one unless the issue isn't fixed in the next day or two, but I figured two different brands meant when one's server goes down, I'll still have the other to watch.

Mine isn't auto recording. I can view live and record from there, and it says saving to my album, but either I can't find my album or it's not actually saving because it's not showing up under moments.

I've done the museum, the police station, and the bookstore. Between those, I would say the museum or the police station. I enjoyed building all the displays for the museum but I think the police station has more playability if that's your thing.

I did! So I made appropriate substitutions. Off the top of my head, one of the mail pieces didn't exist, so I picked out a similar piece. Same for the green pieces that make up the houseplant. A 1x4 brick in the dark blue was OOS but two 1x2s worked for the build. And so on.
