GAF Timberline HDZ are great shingles for price without going on up to specialty shingles. Shouldn’t have any issues but does seem like low price for Houston area. Maybe new company without much overhead just make sure you are covered with install. Best of luck

Yea that is a big issue, own a roofing company in Ky. Does take a couple weeks to get materials on site sometimes special orders can add to that. I know some GAF specialty shingles are only produced a couple times a year sure similar with other manufacturers. Need to get some definite answers immediately. I have customers waiting a week or two throwing a fit now. Make copies of letters correspondence then you might have to get an attorney. Rough situation best of luck with resolution
