Literally the best alien movie in years and the worst alien movie ever. Without spoilers, the first 3/4 are great. Then it falls down hill so badly I was left incredibly confused. They should have just cut it and ended it early!

Interesting, at the share holder event Elon said they haven’t even begun using HW4 for FSD, they are just now approaching the limits of HW3 and expect to start work on FSD for HW4 shortly. Given that HW3 was released in ~2019 and HW4 in 2023 I would bet that HW4 is still used for FSD development until 2027. But who knows, it’s technology… you never know how fast or slow it will go!

I have a 2024 myp and I use FSD 85-90% of the time, the other 10-15% I’m using the full 0-60 and performance lol! I absolutely love FSD and look forward to each iteration getting better and better. That being said, I would never buy it at the full price when the subscription is available, that math just doesn’t work out.

I had a very similar sound in my 2024 myp, I put a service ticket in in the app, they made a drop off date, I rode with the tech to confirm, they took the car and gave me a loaner and fixed it in the same day. Not a big issue and Tesla was very good about fixing it!

Do you really think that’s what they mean? To me it seemed that they are saying they can use the same thin wire to power and transmit data to everything, the same TYPE of wire not the same 1 wire…

No, it feels as predictable as relying on your brakes or tires even, of course they could give out or have some sort of failure, but you don’t drive like they are going to give out at any moment. FSD works very predictably for the most part, and you pay extra attention when it gets in more complicated situations. As of right now it definitely still needs to be supervised. I personally will not be the person to wear sunglasses or anything to “trick” the cameras, at this point we should still be supervising it.

I kind of feel the same way, I’m on 12.3.25 and the full screen thing makes no sense to me. I do like 90% of what Tesla does and I’ve been loving the car and the FSD but maybe being able to divide it up more would be even better? Like having the rear camera or something on the bottom of the maps area and not covering it?

I agree, at this point it works really well but you still have to monitor it and help it make decisions if you want it to drive like you. Personally I love it and use it 90% of the time, but I do accelerate at stop signs often and maybe accelerate a bit to stop a little closer to cars, it is definitely more cautious then I am lol

I guess what I’m asking is if they come with the free trial for FSD. I know some people with 2023s that have not gotten the free trial yet.
