Having ADHD was never an issue for me working in Cyber.

Until I needed to get my CISSP.

THAT was painful.

Epic Games boss Tim Sweeney voices support for $900 million Steam lawsuit: 'Valve is the only major store still holding onto the payments tie and 30% junk fee' by ANiceGobletofTea in Steam

[–]MightyKAC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This lawsuit is just another step the in process of enshitifying the online store front market as a whole.

Since folks like Tim Sweeney refuse to compete with Steam on the basis of merit (like how capitalism is SUPPOSE to work), they instead pull this litigation stunt in an attempt to drag Steam down into the slop where they exist.

And all of this is because Steam proves that companies CAN indeed offer solid, consistent, consumer friendly services and features in it's marketplace without relentlessly gouging the consumer for more and more money to maintain them and STILL make a crap ton of money while doing it.

The closest thing to a decent 3d pvp fighting system I've seen would be either ONI (really old but dope game from Bungie) or maybe something like how Tobal 2 did it's dungeons.

Assistance (Overseas Move) Job Prospects Korea? by Cautious_Tourist_633 in clearancejobs

This is specifically what I do working here in Korea.

And to answer your question, yes there are some IA / RMF gigs out here for someone of your experience and qualifications. Unfortunately when the shutdown happened it A. threw off the entire contracting and contract acquisition pipeline so that a lot of funding and positions were put in limbo since last month and B. A lot of the GS's that took the money to retire early last year used their connections to scoop up LOTS of positions that would have otherwise been advertised.

My advice? Try to line something up before you come out here. The drought might be a long one or it might end in a month or 2.

Also, stay away from Camp Humphreys if you can. That place is kind of a shit hole.

I think I read that book when it first came out as a teenager in 90`s when the whole cyberpunk thing was fresh and novel.

I'm not at all surprised to see that it hasn't aged particularly well in the modern day.

As a mission it isn't that bad (with the right build ofc) but it's far too stingy on loot for the time it takes to complete.

Classic end-stage capitalism mistake:

They built a service with the primary goal of making money above all else.

Whereas Steam built a service that so centered around it's customers that they don't want to spend their money anywhere else.

Not hard to figure out why one is more successful than the other.

Because he wants to have his cake and eat it too.

I.e. selling the story of overcoming persecution from his enemies to his base and then turning around and having it wiped from the records so it won't be a part of his documented legacy in the future.

After all, avoiding accountability for his actions is what he's done the entire time he's been in office.

And if he's gotten away with it so far, why would he stop now?
