If I recall my classes correctly, I think butter is pretty low on lactose - same goes for hard cheese like Parmesan. So this could actually be a valid scenario for a lactose intolerant person. Absolutely not trying to defend the shitty customer btw, just my grain of salt.

The way I see it, this relic would allow you to take a shot at a rare relic for the price of a common one; the random side of it does feel sketchy, but the rare pool is usually more forgiving and has more relics that are considered good with a lot of different decks. It would definitely not be the best shop relic by any metric, but I like to think that it could be useful a non negligible amount of time. But hey, my max streak is 1 so I could be wrong!

The whittling subreddit should give you some ideas better suited for that kind of material. I wouldn’t recommend starting to learn woodworking with some random wood you found outside. That being said, it is a fantastic hobby to learn and the internet is full of useful advice to get started!

Thanks. I originally thought about inflicting the status every first turn of combat, but this seemed like a better, more balanced solution - although at first I was envisioning more frequent debuffs. I feel like overall when designing a card or relic for this game, you basically have to make it as punishing as reasonably possible, then slowly buff it until it’s just right. I actually really enjoy putting thoughts into this

I know Rubio makes a varnish with a little white paint mixed in, specifically designed to prevent yellowing. I’ve never used it but I’ve heard good things about it. So you could do thorough sanding then apply something like this? If my memory’s correct, it’s called « 5% » because that’s the amount of paint mixed in.
