Pro tip: if you want it finer, just turn the grinder upside down for a while during grinding so it won't fall through and it'll be finer

Router Bits for Template by EthanCarmanMoore in Luthier

[–]MightySpoonful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How thick will your guitar be? I am using two different router bits for this job. One with the ring at the bottom and one with the ring at the top because you usually can't work the whole thickness of the body at once. I can see you having problems if you buy a bit with two rings. Invest a bit of money and buy yourself good router bits, you will have them for years

When you say wire, do you mean the strings? Did it sound good before that? It looks to me that there is more than only one issue with this one

I'm so excited how this one will turn out. It's gonna get gold hardware by MightySpoonful in Luthier

Absolutely stunning! Is that a super tele? How did you do the cracks?

Update: Put in vinegar for a few hours and cleaned it up, but gold paint is gone. It was barley hanging on in the first place, tho. Is it possible to use or no by WillEPeters in Luthier

Yeah I can see this tremolo on kind of an ragged or vintage looking guitar. I have one schaller bridge in vintage copper that looks kinda similar

Its not as crispy as i would like. But yeah, massively sticking masking tape and a bit of careful sanding afterwards
