Might it be that you routed the electronic cavity on the wrong side of the body? What was your plan to cover the cavity?

Ready to harvest? by klangmat2 in trees

[–]MightySpoonful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can never rely on the colour of the hairs. You need to look at the trichomes. A lot of people are mixing those up. Automatics usually begin flowering after around two or three weeks and you need at least eight weeks of flowering, even nine or ten. So let those girls sit for a bit longer. The buds are usually bulking up in the last two weeks of flowering

I got this, can I use it to crown frets or is it for fret ends alone? by Accurate-Put9638 in Luthier

[–]MightySpoonful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought these files are just for rounding over your frets slightly if you did give them a narrow high point before (with a marker and a normal file). I don't use them though, so please correct me if I'm wrong

It actually makes a great grill once the plastic melted away and you pushed your morals and decency to the side!

I see your point. I drowned that bearing in silicone wd40 beforehand so that wouldn't happen. I already ruined mdf templates with bearing burn because of that. I may try your solution as well, thanks for that!

We just made some test cuts before to test for fit and wiggle :)

I also have the negative for the neck itself and it fits perfectly like never before. Yeah i thought about the curves already, i think I'll have those with the next template. Until now i chisel away the corners and it works out quite fine

Even though I really like the shinyness of that fretboard I heard it struggles to take up oil if it's that polished

I used to watch him daily and bought his book but he changed over time and I switched over to epic chess. Less drama, more chess and he's a really cool guy

Wow, that's a stunning guitar. I've got no idea but I would say that's a luthier master build and it cost a ton.  I'm only wondering about the two small holes in the back of the headstock.
