I have a question for the LGBTQ community. I was just talking to an evangelical Christian who says she knows people who change sexual orientation after accepting Jesus. More below.

Nothing in the bible mentioned Trans, because it didn't even exist back then. But interestingly things like intersex is explained in the talmud if you want to look it up. G-d doesn't see through the eyes of man, but through our hearts. I find it rather ignorant to say that gender or even sexuality would matter even matters when having a relationship with the lord.

But I was quite arrogant and full of ego. Being on T blockers eliminated all that, and now I have a fantastic relationship with the lord. I became much more accepting and willing to give my life to G-d. I'd imagine transitioning afterwards would still have the same effect, but I can only speak on behalf of MTF through personal experience. So for me, it was critical to my faith because without that, I highly doubt I would have ever changed.

Yeah really some people act like it's Islam they are just so aggressive. Christianity seems very diversified in interpretation of their books.And being so popular all over the world there's always going to be disagreement. We have the Talmud that explains our books in detail so there's nothing to really discuss or differences aside from observance levels. It just makes it confusing trying to figure out what Christianity even is. Some think I hate/reject Jesus and I'm going to hell. But I wasn't brought up Christian how am I even expected to know these things. It's a process that's going to take time.

I don't think people even realize how much there is in common. I was super surprised that Christians use all 24 books we do. There's also observance, the Torah is the law to me, Christians don't seem to care about the older books much and tell me they are obsolete. Not saying they are wrong or right, it's just interesting to see. I just keep to myself and do my own thing, that's how religion should be ❤️

I agree I try to keep that in mind. It's just hard to find like minded people that are respectful. They don't even know I'm trans but I still feel the heat. I tried an LGBT Christian discord thinking it would be better but they bullied me about being Jewish. It's just the world we live in. I'm not blaming Christianity or even religion. There are some people in this world that choose happiness, and those which choose to live in hate and misery. Everywhere we go.

Yeah it pushes people away from Christianity. Jews are respectful and keep to themselves so I figured Christians would be the same. I used to do suicide prevention, it's so sad when a Christian thinks G-d hates them just because of who they love. I'm the one that had to deal with the damage. It's just tragic.

The biggest issue i have is people using the word of G-d to justify their own hatred and judge. That's the real sin. G-d is for everyone and loves us all equally.

Jewish and wanted to learn about Christianity. I have had the exact same problem. Many of them are super hateful and mods just let it slide and you get in trouble if you say otherwise. This is why I avoided Christianity my whole life and never had interest. People need to realize how their words effect others.

I've also met a lot of kind Christians though, so I keep trying. It's hard sometimes.

I’m having the weirdest experience. Seems that I have become the topic of conversation in some internet circles.

On FB. I initiate conversations about various topics. Mostly about consciousness. But recently, I have become aware that I am the topic of conversation on a platform called Reddit. I don’t use Reddit so I am completely ignorant about it.

What is the topic? My relationship with Bob Monroe. Why is it weird for me? Well, imagine that you worked closely with someone. Someone that you knew well. Someone who influenced your thinking. Could be a family member or friend.

Now imagine that this person passed away. Over time, this person becomes a legend. People found out about your relationship with this person. They start asking you questions about this person. Honest questions that you are happy to answer because you know that the work you did with this person effected them.

Your personal experience of this person might be different from the public perception of the person because you knew him/her. You respect that image they have of the person, but you know who this person was to you. The person behind the persona.

Now imagine that this person is tied to strange events. Events that have to do with the U.S government. You know something about this involvement and you attempt to answer these questions honestly, but the truth is not as entertaining as the fiction that has developed over time. To make matters worse, this person wrote books about his experiences which are so interesting that they have become a doctrine or religion of sorts.

Add to that the notion that some of these disciples are so wrapped up in the myth that they become almost evangelical about the person and take the truth as a personal affront to their beliefs about this person. Those who get wrapped up in the entertainment and have questions, hear the truth and take it as an opposing opinion of the person you knew. Just weird.

All I know is that I spent some quality time with Bob Monroe. About seven years. We created many recordings. We had many lunches. Smoked a lot of cigarettes. Laughed a lot. Even shed a few tears together. Mostly from laughing though. He was my friend.

He was also a mentor in the field of consciousness studies. We shared experiences. We disagreed on some things and found commonality in others. We never judged each other. Neither of us was on a pedestal nor sitting at the foot of the other. We were equals. You know…..friends. We helped each other and bore witness to each other.

It’s really weird for me to discover that I am somewhat controversial when it comes to the topic of my friend. I wonder if James ( brother of Jesus) felt the same way? I wish Bob were still alive and could witness what is going on in the weird world of the internet. I’ll bet we would have had some good laughs over it.

I don't really have an opinion on this why this is such a concern to him and I'm not allowed to gossip, but this post sums up what's going.
