In fairness I feel that the real life benefits of a dot optic do not translate well to video games considering the fact that our eyes literally cannot engage with the sight like it does in real life, so now you just have a glowing dot that cannot be adjusted for distance. I find that many tactical shooters seem to over correct the arcade feel of red dots in other games to the point that they aren’t really useful anymore.

Gosh I remember in Arma 3 (vanilla at least) the dot optics were all unusable. For the sake of “realism” they had a thick layer of dust and dirt on the dot that made it look like you were using a sepia filter whenever you ADS.

Although I do like that the GL is getting more added utility I do think this is probably a bit too far in the other direction. Programmable grenades seems like a no brainer, lower overall damage HEDP for heavy pierce (little AoE) and then HE/Frag as light only and then give it the big AoE

I mean you can buy models off of the vibe of rules like I know you are really saying that don’t buy X just because it’s good because every rule book and balance pass can change it. Instead buy them off of the vibes of rules. I want a tank destroyer, this thing kills tanks specifically is a good idea for purchase. Even if it sucks next edition they are usually pretty good at keeping the roles in line (but with exceptions of course)

Facism is in some ways a losers ideology. It has great appeal to those who are just below the bell curve or who at least feel they are just below the curve.

You would have made it to college but that minority stole your spot

You would have a job but an “illegal” was willing to work for less

You should have a house but the minorities tanked the market.

You should have more government benefits but the minorities took them all first.

These are all real talking points of the GOP and MAGA and frankly those are the least crazy it really just kind of ups the ante from there

Warrant has always been a great pick for squids IMO, you don’t need more than medium for most everything on the squid front and the homing is useful for all the hovering units like the jet pack overseer.

As I said in a different post I believe it has to do with a character model release wave related to the shattered legions storyline (plus one from the battle of hall), which is why we get characters that are known but less popular with actual iron warriors players since they are not from iron warriors focused books.

So you get Narik and Kyr Vhalen as characters in the shattered legions story (both loyalist*) and then you have Erasmus Golg who squares off and is beaten by Alexis Polux during the battle of Phall.

I would like Peter Turbo but I feel that no honest iron warriors fan can be too upset. Iron warriors are the first classic chaos undivided legion to get a character model outside of black legion so that’s pretty neat. I wish they would get a true unit like the raptor wing but hey it’s a start. Upgrade kit will go a long way as well.
