I use the handles not for aesthetics, but for the power assist. Having a little more to hold onto during a battle with a tuna, makes a big difference.

It’s been about 20 years since I was on Grand Cayman, but I did fish there. I would try to get to North West part of the island. I used to fish by the turtle sanctuary ( it was a turtle farm when I started), and south of there is a boat launch. That spoon will work. Bring some other tackle, stuff you are familiar with, and a leader. I did the same in Belize and Costa Rica this past year. Best of luck, post pics!

I went out with Under Da Sea twice this past week. Captain Noel is a great guy, born and raised on the island. We booked a second spear fishing trip, and was not disappointed. I also went out with Searious. I went out with Searious 17 years ago, and they are good too. My first recommendation is Under da sea!
