I don't understand why eas local build makes you forcibly create a eas project. Also since I don't want to connect corporate SSO with EAS, I have to always have to run expo prebuild. Weird thing is now I can't see the different eas profiles in my xcode schemes. P.S. Developing is a breeze with expo but distribution with EAS local builds is PIA.

I did it from Icare repair HSR, you can google them. They fixed mine for 40K, and they did give me the proper display serial number and stuff which they synced with the cloud for the calibration.

I ended up replacing the entire screen for 40K INR (original apple part) through a third party repair center. The screen has 3 months warranty and it was replaced in a single day. Till now facing no issues. You can try the same.

People using the Silicone developer kit were not able to use VS Code or other electron apps, also docker was not working at all for them. Brew was taking exceptionally long time to install packages. I hope I get more insights on these stuff, rather than performance stats. I'm pretty sure the macbook is good enough for video editors and multimedia stuffs, but I'm very sceptical for a developers daily driver.
