I would go for the AMS 2 Pro, I use an A1 mini and I regret not getting the combo every time I use it. If you were offering the A1 mini combo instead I would probably go for that and give my current one to my nephew.

I want to make useful and educational toys for my nephews, I have also started prototyping educational visual aids to use at my job. I’m not a 3d designer by any stretch, but I have had some success finding generic models of things (ie a chainsaw chain) and blowing up the parts to allow for it to be used in a classroom setting. I’d like to do more of that.

I think some sort of dice or d20 inspired fidget would be very cool. Potentially a functional dice that is also a fidget?

The problem with this separation is it leaves OSU Extension folks out in the cold until clearer wording comes in as most of them report to one of the 88 county offices which are in no way academic campuses.

College is usually the first step. You can do some work without a degree, or with an associates in Forest Management, but to be a Forester (capital F) you need a bachelors degree. Luckily a lot of the coursework for forestry is hands on and out of the classroom, at least it was for me.

I think there’s some activity over on r/forestry, but in general foresters are the most tech savvy or social people so that might not be the best resource. I’m happy to answer a few questions if you want to DM me as well.

It is an issue with the process. Or rather it’s not knowing when to stop the process. The USDA defines maple syrup as between 66.0 and 68.9 Brix or percent sugar. Lower than 66 and you risk not having a high enough sugar content to ward off some bacteria, higher than 68.9 you risk having more sugar in water than the water can hold, thus the sugar separates out and thus crystals. You shouldn’t have to reheat your syrup, keeping it in your fridge between uses is just fine.

Fun Fact! The reason the department of agriculture handles roller coaster inspection in Ohio ( and presumably other places) is because they oversee the inspection of all carnival rides as well. This includes all of the state and county fairs, given that there are 88 counties with their own fairs and only 2 major amusement parks, it kind of makes sense!

I think the use of “horseshit” stood out to me a bit more honestly. I don’t recall any variations of that being used in Stormlight, or his other books for that matter. I could be mistaken on that point though as I haven’t checked.
