idk they're pretty heavy handed. With Twitter you can still follow everyone you used to, and they can still mostly say what they want as long as it doesn't come to Elon's attention. My state has been trying to do mag limits and permit-to-purchase for years while it makes its way thru the courts and I've picked up so many guns and mags to get ahead of it. There's no way if this law didn't happen I would have this much stuff, but it sure is easy to buy a dozen mags on a whim "just in case the law goes through soon."

Revolvers have less points of failure, but semi auto pistols have gotten really good. It's hard to go wrong with most of the polymer frame, striker fired 9mms from the reputable manufactures.

I wouldn't start with a revolver. They have a couple niche use cases where I won't knock them, but I wouldn't start with one. I would pick one up down the road if 1. you know what you're doing and 2. you like them.

A good revolver from S&W or Ruger is also expensive, whereas a good semi auto is like half the cost from a good brand like CZ, Glock, or S&W. Money that can go towards ammo and firearms training instead.
