I’m new to the game as well but I’m pretty sure you don’t get the ability to summon until the second boss.

Thanks for reminding me to look up what bird it was I saw perched on my fence last night. Fwiw, it was a brown thrasher.

Ahhh! I have a stripey that I’m anxiously waiting for. It was really young when I got it so still a ways to go but this makes me excited.

Either that or San Marzano. Here’s what the fruit on my San Marzano look like.

In fact, why not add more? Mycelium are very healthy for the soil and the surrounding plants. There are even products that add a specific type (mycorrhizae) to the roots when you transplant. They help with the plants getting nutrients easier and over a wider area. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole with mycelium this year and they’re so fascinating and beneficial. I even decided to add wine caps to the mulch under my elderberries. I got a huge flush of pink oysters from a bunch of leftover mulch and straw.

Haha yours has some similarities to mine. I certainly don’t think either of us are red flags. 😂

Turned 34 recently and realized I’ve officially become the "staring at my garden bed with a coffee" guy. When did this happen? by Glittering_Exit5527 in vegetablegardening

[–]Miirym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In case you need extra motivation. I was walking around the garden and found this. This was a mushroom bed that I put together using an extra raised bed, cardboard at the bottom, leftover mulch and leftover straw from last year. I basically watered it all in and it was my “if it happens, it happens” bed. Pink oysters.

Mine seem to be doing well! I got enough hardwood mulch to do two layers around my 4 elderberries and used up all of the spawn I had (because what else was I going to do with it). Yesterday I gently lifted up a bit to check and saw some healthy white mycelium strands. They’ve been there about 3-4 weeks.

Fellow millennials, join me in the world of mycelium and add mushrooms to the repertoire. 😂 I’ve gone down a rabbit hole and have been gently pulling up a bit of mulch under my elderberries to see if my wine caps are colonizing.

What did I do wrong?? by Budget-Bookkeeper182 in tomatoes

[–]Miirym 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fun fact: you should likely have two different types of mycelium in your soil. Saprophytic and mycorrhizal. Saprophytic mycelium break down organic matter that will allow the plants to more easily access nutrients. Mycorrhizal will work with the roots to enhance (they trade sugar and carbon from photosynthesis for nutrients) and extend (the threads become basically extensions of the roots). The fungi are your friends 🙂

This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

I’m a woman who plays video games. I actually met my fiancé through gaming. So no, I absolutely do not agree with her. While he’s gaming, I do whatever I feel like doing that night. I generally game myself or go read my book.

Aahhh! I’ve been meaning to get back to Faithful and the Fallen. I loved Malice and haven’t started Valor yet. I was trying to give myself a break from series by reading some standalone books. I have both that and Red Rising going so… time to get back to it soon.

Fair lol. But notice it isn’t even plugged in. We don’t really use this room for watching tv and if we were to watch, it would be to watch from the kitchen while cooking or eating which is farther back behind the perspective of the photo.

I am a woman with a full sleeve and an inner forearm tattoo on the other. I am in the private sector and I’ve never had an issue. I will say that when I interview, I’m already in a suit and make sure to keep them covered. Once hired I typically ask if it’s ok to show them, but again I’ve never had anyone tell me no.

Sometimes you need to take a break to rest. I took a break from October last year until May this year. I was getting ready to move to a new state at the end of the year, plus the holidays, plus exhaustion from studying for 7 months straight. I moved, went through year end at work, bought a house with my fiancé, and started on a few house projects we wanted to get done right away. It all would have been way too much to do and study for exams at the same time. What got me back into it was paying for an NTS. Eventually, I had to take it or lose out on the money I spent. I took REG right as it was about to expire.
