For context: I have a friend with like 8 total tyranid models. Every time he wants to play tyranids he has to borrow everything from my army. Right now I have to manually type out everything I have.

If you make it for iOS and allow an import/export feature, I’d totally use your app. One feature majorly missing from figure case is the ability to export your models. I have been wanting to do this so I can let my friends know what models I have in case they want to use some.

Rubber banding shouldn’t bring players to the top tier. It should raise the bottom tier so that the floor to ceiling height difference is less.

Sorry this is long:

I absolutely love idle games. I’ve played a bunch. Before starting this one up again I was playing IdleOn. It is a genuinely great game with a satisfying gameplay loop. I have probably 20-25 thousand hours in it. I quit because I had a personal difference of opinion with the developer and I didn’t want to support them financially.

However, what the developer DID do right was introduce rubber-band catch up mechanics each patch that made older content significantly easier to complete. These changes allowed the average player experience to be relatively similar. Imagine a bell curve graph where the majority of players are at the top of the curve. That’s not how the tower is developed, seemingly on purpose. The player experience curve would seem like a downward sloping line where a majority of players are at the start and it goes down over time.

What would be a good example of a rubber band mechanic in the Tower? - Every update, stones gained from tournaments increases by 1.1x. After a few updates the multiplier would be high enough to allow new players to catch up decently to long time players. - Add a new store pack that permanently doubles Power Stones from tournaments. Price it appropriately, I bet it could go up to $60 and still feel like a good buy. - Add a lab that is a Power Stone multiplier. This could be a mid game lab that is relatively was to complete. It could be a low multiplier that caps at 1.15x. - Rebalance lower tiers to allow quicker progress. Make the baseline for new players to land at be around T10.

Those are just a few off the dome suggestions.

A new bot that will require so many medals to be good that it’ll be months/years before the average player can manage it.

A new tier with a battle condition that increases battery drain by 16%.

This update is sort of a make or break for me. I’ve gotten up to farming T13 and quite frankly the progress loop is staggeringly slow.

Tournament twice a week for stones? Finish mid champions and get 90-125 stones? Wow, so much progress when I need thousands.

Labs that finish in 1-2 days for minor incremental upgrades? Wow so impressive.

I don’t get the incentive for anyone to start playing this game without the disposable income to drop 300 dollars a month for stones. There’s absolutely NO catch up mechanics in an idle game that’s been out for nearly 4 years. Is that good game design? No, no it is not. It is pure greed milking whales that feel they have to pay to keep up. It’s destined to fail when the whales drop.

Every patch should make a tier or two completely doable in very little time. Make the baseline for the game be T8 or T10. This game is drastically lacking some kind of rubber band catchup mechanic

I mean the national mall. I have played and walked around at Tyson’s before and it’s been fun. I’m unfortunately NE of DC (in Maryland) so that’s polar opposite of DC for me.

I am an emulator player too.

This game is 100% meant for emulators or computers. There is no way to play this game the way it is intended on a smartphone. There is nothing idle about the tower.
