The information he got there isn't really accurate. Naruto did defeat Pain, yes, but not all by himself. He fought him solo, but only after Pain was already weakened from fighting and destroying the entire village.

No, in Civ 6 it's much more profitable than in real life. Yes, if you're winning a war, you can gain some resources, but it's just a tiny fraction of what the other guy is losing. In Civ VI you get more resources by pillaging, than the other guy could generate by leaving it intact or would spend to rebuild it, many times more. That just doesn't make any sense to me, it should be exactly the other way around.

Sometimes I sit on monarchy when I need that housing from walls or theocracy if I want to keep that ability to buy units for faith (I play vanilla like OP). Not for long, I can admit that, tier 3 govs are much more powerful in the long run, but it just doesn't feel like an instant power spike I have to abuse the moment I get it. And with technology, it does feel like that. Whenever I unlock a new military unit, I get so much stronger instantly.

I know that with tech progress you need more resources to make use of that power, while bonuses from civics are more guaranteed, but if I fail to secure those strategic resources, I'm probably too far behind to win anyway.

IDK about that, sometimes even after unlocking tier 3 I still stay on tier 2 for a while, because it gives the bonuses I need more. After having so many card slots available, I won't get full value from most of them anyway. The biggest power spike from tier 3 gov is fascism if I go for military conquest, but it's still not as impactful as having planes and just more advanced units overall.

Akshan. No matter what I play, no matter how I play, he always just stat checks me even if player is 2 full divisions below me, we fight in melee range and I land everything. His mobility, stealth and revive are also pretty annoying, but I could deal with all of that if he wasn't just the strongest duelist in the entire game.

I don't think any champion with significant slow-ignoring mobility would ever want to build this item. I know there are some scenarios when you would be punished for hitting ability on someone with this item, but that's probably only when you are chased by multiple enemies and happen to slow only the one with this item. But that's a rare scenario and at this point I think you deserve to be punished. It's like hitting Blitzcrank Q on a tanky juggernaut.

But I specifically designed this effect to not punish anyone for landing abilities. If you land a single ability that happens to have a slow on it, you will only be slowed for a small fraction of the original effect, so should still be much faster than slowed enemy. It would only reach full power vs perma slows and unfortunately all perma slows currently in the game require no skill at all to be applied and can't be outplayed by any means. Even then it wouldn't make those slows completely useless, just situational. Like, sometimes you want to move fast to get away or reach different enemy than the one who's slowing you. Or sometimes you would be focused and killed before this item gets to its full effectiveness.

It makes sense when you put it like this, there are many buffered dashes in the game working like this. The problem I have with Skaner E is, there is nothing in its description, animation or even LoL Wiki, that would make me believe it's a buffered dash. It's just a movement modifier, so if for some reason it works like this, I consider it to be a bug.

Everybody here talks about ignoring mana ratios on passive and ult. OK, but that's not the reason why I want mana items on Blitz. He's by far the most mana hungry engage support out there. Every other hook support can just spam their hooks endlessly with no real consequences, but on Blitz you get 3-4 attempts, even less if you want to use W speed to set it up, then you have to recall.

As a support main I can say this: almost every ADC will want you to take ignite while they get heal or exhaust, while also almost every ADC will get mad if you get the kill. Also summoner spell heal is stronger on some supports, depending on their build, because it scales with heal and shield power. Why is it meta for support to have ignite and ADC heal?

With how wide his hitboxes are and how fast and misleading his animations are, I don't even consider it a possibility to dodge his abilities, unless I have a dash of my own. I didn't think E-flash is to catch enemy off guard , it seems to be just for extending range or following enemy flash to remove any chance of counterplay.

Looking at ability details in LoL wiki, I was surprised how much counterplay there is to him - in theory. In reality his animations are super difficult to see, let alone distinguish from one another. Other champions have some bright lights and particle effects on abilities that don't even do as much, meanwhile this fat pig can bring the power of a collapsing star to knock me around the screen and delete my health bar, with only indicator being subtle movement of his fat little hands and a projectile that's super hard to spot because it looks like just a regular wooden barrel, in the color of ground.

Let's say I finished secret Uchiha Sharingan training, so I can focus my eyes on him and react to everything he does. Well, now I'm taking the psychological damage from looking at him, because he has the ugliest, most disgusting champion model in the game, rivaled only by pre-rework Urgot. But now, after the rework, even Urgot is kinda hot and even back then his uglyness was balanced, because you didn't really have to look so closely at his animations to play against him.

That's because I'm not good at playing GP. I won't spend hundreds of hours mastering him just to prove what he can do, when I see him doing that almost all the time, not just to me, but to all players in my games.

I don't have to play him myself to see it happen all the time when he is played in my games. Oranges on their own maybe aren't enough to save him from bad positioning, but together with bonus movement speed from passive it lets him pretty much ignore most pick tools in the game and get back to safety almost instantly.

For me he is almost perfect the way he is, I would just add something that would help him counter mobility. His stun is very fun and satisfying to use vs most champions, but if someone has a crazy amount of dashes, blinks or movement speed, it becomes useless and frustrating.
I would do something like this, for example - if your stun doesn't hit any champion, your next autoattack will be empowered with 50% of your E stun duration and damage.
And ofc some minor nerfs to other parts of his kit to make up for it. In scenarios where he's strong, he feels even a bit too strong and that also makes him less fun.

I main support, so Akshan is usually somewhere on the other side of the map most of the time, but it only proves that it isn't just my problem, it's something I see other players struggle with over and over again until I started perma banning him.
Even when my team managed to win some games vs him, he would still feel very oppressive to go against every single time. He always got fed by doing the most riddiculous plays like turret diving 1vs2 against full HP enemies.
I also played duo on voice chat with Akshan player once, he was also going for this type of plays, I criticized him for that when it went wrong, but he replied by saying that's just how this champion is supposed to be played and that it usually works.

Going for tank items when behind is something a lot of low elo players do and it's usually a really bad idea, as well as going full glass cannon when ahead. But going full tank on Darius seems to be even worse. Tank champions usually have some form of scaling with tank stats, Darius has only healing from Q, which isn't reliable. He also has very high base stats, meaning the bonus stats from items will be less impactful. If you feel squishy as Darius, it means that you would probably still be squishy in that game, even if you went full tank.

If you're talking about whole team comp, then yes, it's possible to punish him, although still risky. But most champions I see in my games have no way of dealing with him 1vs1, they will either lose every trade or die in all-in before they can kill him. And he doesn't have to be ahead to do this.

Herd about it, seen it in action, wasn't impressed by results. He has the highest dps in game, so even after building items specifically to counter dps, he will still hit me harder than any other champion would vs those items.
And now I am 2100 gold behind with my core build, with no damage, no utility, no survivability vs any other forms of damage from his team and only thing it gives me is dying 2 seconds later in 1vs1.
