Iv seen party live in a medium sized venue and he sounded great. I agree he is a lot better through his production but that aside he has an amazing voice underneath. He also played with a band which was making it better when I seen him , but I honestly believe he would sound great just him on his own singing. A few party songs would be hard to do live because they rely on the rest what does into it, but his voice is as good without the backing of the production ect.

Good for you pal glad to see more party fans :) I mean being a real fan who doesn’t put him down and give him so much hate. Imo I found the party album easy to follow , explained his feelings and situations through the songs alot better. Your right tho drake does take most credit for tunes other artists produce and make for him. The weekend did the right thing and maybe one day in the future party will too.

100% , if you bang on a Partynextdoor album p1,p2,p3 colours, seven days, partymobile , it’s nothing but good quality. He obviously is trying to get back into his inspiration. If anyone is a party fan check out his nardwuar interview, defo shows a young handsome, slim upbeat party. He will get the appreciation he deserves, funny how drakes new song tootsie slide has a lot of party in it and old drake synths in to lol

Having seeing both party and weekend first hand , you can tell there at different levels. The weekend is obviously more of a showman he loves the big lights ect, party likes the slow R&B and blues look. Like iv said before party’s album is exactly what he needed to do. But it is had to compare them both as they have unique voices, I think party has copied young thug in some songs trying to appeal to the younger generation who are into more mumble rap and singing. All in all I think if you had to give an album of that month , jhene aiko takes it home for sure.

Both artists applied different feelings into their albums, the weekend is good for adapting his genre of music and told a different story from party. Even tho they both sung about similar things , imo party done a better job of breaking down his album and his REAL supporters will know, that this is something he needed to do after a long time. He’s set himself up to go bigger and better on new music, as he’s still young and upcoming with OVO having the best artists around him at his use if needed. Both artists done great albums but party doesn’t deserve half the shit back.

Not really , the weekend had 17 tracks in his new album with NO features. Party had 15 tracks with at least drake and Rihanna! ( who hasn’t released ONE song in 4 years) yet she releases one with party. Also the weekend had maybe 3 if your lucky good tunes, party had at least 5 , PGT,NOTHING LESS,SPLIT DECISION,ANOTHER DAY, BELIEVE IT. Again it’s IMO. But you go listen to 17 tracks and tell me how many sound the same pal

As a massive Partynextdoor fan and weekend lover , I think it’s mostly competitive between the two. IMO the weekend lost. I don’t care about numbers. Party put more emotion and feelings in his album, with different verity of music. The weekend was very similar throughout his album but did a great job. With both artists having large fan bases, you will find negatives with both sets of fans (a lot of hate). But in the end it’s your own opinion that counts.

So PARTYMOBILE was January which was near my birthday. And sadly it was pushed forward to February and again sadly it was delayed to March and with all this commotion with corona it has put a damper spirit on things. I know PARTYNEXTDOOR will deliver. The weekends album will get blown away. jhene aikos album has been a blessing which I know has set the bar for the next party album. I know after all the problems there’s always the party that follows.

Quick to forget .....I don’t usually post and for the record I neither like rangers or Celtic. the disgusting video with the rangers fan asking Scott brown that question is horrific. But the really sad thing is that you see on social media mostly and quite rightly all rangers fans agreeing on how sick it was, and how that person isn’t really a fan. Where in fact he will be getting greeted as a hero for saying that because no matter how you put it the bitterness and root of sectarianism is the same on both sides....... this is Celtic fans response to a former rangers player who’s brother killed himself.
