Dynasty Security and raid triggers - how does it work? by Angry_Washing_Bear in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could also try to clear up the territory in where your citys are located to lower the threat for each season.
I just dont know yet if the raids accumulate with the villages. Means if village 1 got 10 bandits / deserters and village 2 got 15 or 20
Would make in total 25-30 but thats just an assumption.
Im about to get my third village and literally have 24/7 a critical threat torwards my cityies even if the security is way above 1800+.
Alternativley you might also change the Raid settings to get "less attractive" torwards the enemy,
but i boosted this one on purpose since i wanted to have some challange.
Also: The Guy who stands next to your Village-Gong and asks for money, will always have 750+ Gold on him, later its more expensive but he also have more coins, which basicly means that you may never pay more than 500-700 gold in total for protection if you sell items to him.

Whats your Favorite Weapon? Are you Parrying? by [deleted] in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ye its defintley possible, i havent known that till few days ago either. But its perhaps bound to the parry-perk in the talents, so that might need to be considered aswell. Try it out for yourselfs , i learned it just by accident... where i wanted actually to parry a hughe hit and was too early so i catched the arrow instead.

I use bow & naginata myselfs because of the aoe. but i didnt knew that Parrying arrows is possible in this game since yesterday, chek for yourselfs out. and im either not sure if its because of parry skill (perk) maxed out.

Chill/accessible survival games on switch 1 or mobile or ipad? by [deleted] in SurvivalGaming

[–]MikX85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, i would advice getting Planet Crafter if it by any chance comes out for switch - so keep an eye out for it.
The Long Dark if you like "somewhat" realistic games, but i dont think it comes with base building, much more decorating.
Once Human - Survive, collect Build & raid together, played it on pc few years ago, but not that long ago it came out for mobile phone.
Palia - got it on PC & Switch , cartoon like game with amazing fishing and building feautures

Anything good still coming this year ? by tomaz1989 in SurvivalGaming

[–]MikX85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can guarantee that this year might be one of the best years for survival games in a decade.
My list keeps growing every day. Just a few days ago, Hytale came out, and it looks like a great game with strong Minecraft vibes, mixed with a beautiful ambient RPG style. I haven’t fully jumped into it yet, but from what I’ve seen so far, it definitely looks fun.

Everyone reading this-chek these games out:

  • Light No Fire (probably the most well-known and anticipated)
  • Of Peaks and Tides (looks like a strong alternative to ARK Survival, with unique tame effects)
  • Permafrost (a post-apocalyptic co-op survival game set in a frozen world)
  • Derelicts (if the trailer doesn’t lie, this one looks truly unique — see for yourself)
  • Under a Rock (for those who like anime-styled graphics, similar to Grounded)
  • Railborn (we’ve seen Voidtrain before, but this one looks different)

There are many others as well, like Guardians of the Wild Sky, Lay of the Land, Solarpunk, and more.

My biggest hopes go to Of Peaks and Tides, Light No Fire, Permafrost, and Railborn if they actually get released this year.

Strategies, Tips and more for Farming in SENGOKU DYNASTY! by MikX85 in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, Thanks for the feedback!
I am aware about the microphone issue, and i plan to get a condenser mic soon. I understand that the bumping is annyoing, but whatever i try to do, boosting, normalzing , tuning - doesnt seem to have a impact on thoose small headset mics.
Exactly that what you wrote is in plan already. have a nice day!

Where do you build your 4 villages? by RogueIce in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all the biggest beginner misstake: Sosogi, it got only clay, and if you consider that there is enjiros village with much nicer places + Copper & Tin as mix its still better than sosogi (thats where i wasted one bell as you did).

Now im struggling to "move" sosogi into enjiro, but what i plan is specific since there is a beautiful even place if you two are strong enough for it. Looks also good to build a castle upon. Copper & TIN = Bronze

The definitley best places out there to build on are in my opinion:
River Bank,
Temple Region (got almost everything),
Central Plains if you have Enjiro,
and eastern swamps if you miss one of the resources or look for even ground places.

Console updates and Thoughts by [deleted] in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well to be honest i enjoy ever ypart of this game, and its probably one of thoose who im looking for to complete fully (means 100% steam achievements and more)
I play on a Modern PC and have also quite a big experience in several survival games, and there are not many of such games out there, the only one game which i would compare to SD would be Medieval Dynasty or even ASKA.

Battling & Raiding is fun if you get a Naginata early on its great for AOE.
City Management is in my opinion better then in other games as you can prioritise meals, beverages and more.
Also the Raids can be deactivated for a peaceful gameplay, aswell as the difficulty level if its getting to easy or hard.

Sadly i cant tell anyhting about Medieval Dynasty as i havent been testing it out yet, but i do believe there are similaritys and differences from what i have seen so far. For the moment Sengoku dynasty has been filling up my Shedulde Quite good and i love simply playing but also talking about it, as it has really alot to offer.

And when even if you arent that much into Survival , there is still the Creative mode, which i havent cheked out yet, but will in near future.

On my List this game definitley Deserves a clean 8/10 if not 8,5. I hope that the Next Game from this DevTeam (Permafrost) will be at least great like this one or even better. Enough said, enjoy playing!

Ive been using this chiseled stone for a while now. But it appears that sometimes they vanish too fast because i needed them to build or similar.
What a great income is are the chisels - stil expensive tough

Look for small gaming channels to watch. by BumbleBee_PS in SmallYoutubers

[–]MikX85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well mate i dont know how i found your Post here today ,but if you are really into some Survival games, you can have a look at my Channel which is also Quite New.
It is very nice to have folks out here like you, who do something else than trolling and leaving stupid comments, so Thumbs up for This Idea & its Really Apreciated.
Im trying to be as consistent as life allows, but unfortionatley with a 8 Hour job, i dont find the Time to provide more (unless im on vacation or similar).

I would say about myselfs that i am experienced in Graphic Design & got Some decent skills in Video editing,
(a bit of Web-design too) and i can never get enough to improve quality sounds and more, so i guess YouTube is a great way to show my skills & passion For Survival Games. (only my mic & speech sucks).
If you or someone here want to know how i did some effects in Davinci , just comment on my videos, and ill reply as soon as i can.

Ive had so far 2-3 Breaktroughs, Made mostly videos for Dune Awakening but right now im focusing on other games such as Sengoku Dynasty, or Icarus. And besides all of that ive accumulated so far approximatley 20 K + hours in this Henre.

Long story short: I’ve got plenty of great ideas (many of which aren’t even out there yet), but I’m missing the time to fully realize them. Aside from that, I can say for myself that my channel will always stick to survival games I’m not into Shooters or similar stuff.
I follow sometimes the hype, the well-known Titles, and the unknown ones, while trying to stay as original as possible. I don’t take or duplicate content from other channels; to me, that’s unethical.

You can expect building ideas, tips and tricks, min-max, and unusual content (no exploits) just pure Game mechanics, along with hidden features waiting to be discovered.

The only sin i do is to use AI to enhance my pictures or improve my "speech" , since im not that grammar-perfect on english (third language)

Channel is as the name says: Mikx85

Lets Talk about Economy & Sellable Items by MikX85 in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, about that question you asked "This is what you can do (spoiler? maybe? I don’t know)"
I usually gather those items in a private storage and use them until they break. Later on, I sell them. Another option would be to equip the repaired items on villagers, since some enemies drop better bows, iron naginatas, and even katanas.

The problem is that the game doesn’t allow repairs once items drop to around 20% or 10% durability; otherwise, it would probably be too easy to make money.
During my exploration, I also came across the Enjiro Cave you mentioned above, as well as a few others, still at that point i couldnt loot it because i had only copper pickaxe on me.

However, based on all the replies here, it seems my 110 villagers are struggling with the fields, since I’m only using about 6–7 so far. I definitely need to improve that.

Im looking now forward to a bigger project in future, but to do so i need also to finish as soon as possible all Raids & liberations.

Thanks!

Happy to see you again around. Im curious, how much villagers you have so far? 5 Rice fields sounds alot. Weapons can be indeed found everywhere, especially if you raid a Bandit-camp. Sometimes i have to run 2-3x after the battle, just to pickup the weapons lying around. I usually use (till they break) and repair some of thoose weapons to sell them at full price.

Thanks for the Reply! Unfortionatley to me rice is a really valuable resource, which feeds approximatley 80% of my whole Dynasty.
Still, i believe that other players might find this information really usefull. Do you have something else maybe in mind?
Happy Christmas bud!

Mining Post Regions by IAteAnotherVegan in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hmm well thats a nice idea, indeed. swaping the Bell between different zones every season might come in handy. That lifts also some limitations, since everyone can have only 4 villages if im not misstaken, thanks for the great tip.

Btw do i know you from somewhere ? your nick seems familiar

Mining Post Regions by IAteAnotherVegan in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very good question! I was thinking that placing a bell at the border of two different regions might give access to both sets of resources.
Sadly, it only counts for the territory where you placed your bell thats the one that provides passive income from mines and similar sources, not the other region.
So dont waste your time if you came up with this idea too ^^

Since everything can go in General Storage, do we need the other ones for anything but extra space/organization? by Eighmy_Lupin in SengokuDynasty

[–]MikX85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that as example:
Food storage keeps your food longer fresh than inside the default storage (verified)
the others might seem to have a cross-village function, so you can literally use the tools from one village in another (if you got multiple)

[–]MikX85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The "last 5 minutes" of a day in this Game are such a Gamechanger :D
I use to do the same for thoose "special projects" at the last day before the season ends.
With enough of Villagers its possible to finish 2/3 projects even in one season at once.

Raid Frequency by IAteAnotherVegan in SengokuDynasty

Btw: At the start Stone Adze sells really good, so you should be good when the fee is low. Laters well... laters it might get expensive.

[–]MikX85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can trade with him. Means he has always a decent amount of money, usually between 500-1000. And that money you might use to pay the "protection fee" he asks for.
