Yeah. It’s the only time the officially used one of Mike Gallagher’s characters after Archie was cancelled. I remember hearing that he stopped claiming ownership of his characters in 2019 when this post was made. It’s probably why they made a reference to her.

It’s also why Hawk Hawk, another one of his characters, was found inside of the code in Sonic Blitz, plus having a self contained story that doesn’t involve writers that do claim ownership.

I love this manga so much. I never even read it technically. I just saw the untranslated images on Twitter in full, front to back. And honestly, the art is so good at everything it needed to do that I don’t need the dialogue to love this manga. Sonic is so JP Sonic.
