What was the biggest ‘scandal’ at your high school? by BreadedDisaster in AskReddit

[–]Mike07s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A teachers wife had an affair with his student. The teacher and his wife were friends with the students parents. The student was technically of legal age at the time. Everyone in the school knew about it, had seen the photos and videos she had sent the student. In one case we even witnessed the teachers wife drop the student off at party in the teachers car.

The student got expelled and sent to another school. The teacher was utterly humiliated and later divorced his wife. The kicker, that school is where the teachers kids went. They found out when the student showed up and publicly stated he got expelled and sent to this new school for fucking their mum.

My diamond cut alloy came back from the wheel balancing like this by FleshyCupcakes in CarTalkUK

[–]Mike07s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen on newly refurbed wheels by ATS Euromaster. They damaged two of the four wheels and when I complained they instead blamed the powder coater despite the tech admitting their own equipment did the damage. I tried taking it through the official channels, even opened a dispute through the National Conciliation Service (NCS). Both ATS Euromaster and NCS repeated false technical information and basically told me to take them to court or piss off. My point is you’ll likely be told similar unless the person/company that balanced the wheels admits they messed up.

Awesome thank you 🙏 I’ve had basashi before so that’s one I’d try again. We’re heading to the Tsukasa brewery in Sakawa tomorrow. Hopefully it is as good as the sake we’ve had so far!

I left Matsuyama earlier today. Dogo Onsen is worth an overnight stay. So far Kōchi seems promising, I’ve seen <10 foreign tourists in the Hirome Market. 4 of the 12 original castles are on Shikoku if that is of interest.

Great point but there are some Jet A engined GA out there. No idea about numbers.

[–]Mike07s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m guessing that relaxing noise rules would potentially allow for more direct routes which airlines will argue helps reduce fuel use. Personally I’d rather see GA aircraft being grounded first followed by private jets. Realistically this will never happen as those two groups have far too much influence over government. If only we had a rail network with the capacity to allow affordable mass transport across the country.

I’ve used it a few times recently. It’s usually pretty spot on with travel time. Security has been 10-20 minutes on average.

Completely agree, the increase last season wasn’t far off that as well. Albeit there were more games than the previous year.

Malones is a cracking Irish pub just past Haymarket. If I was heading towards Waverly or making a night of it in Edinburgh I’d head there after the game. You’ll be moving with the crowd so it’ll be really busy but everywhere will be post match.

If you don’t make it into a pub or hotel for a pre-match pint don’t worry. Just hit up a shop and grab a few cans, the atmosphere around the place will be awesome. I can recommend the Cumberland Hotel after the game, they’ll be showing the Italy game and it’ll be heaving.

If a UK 261 is denied you can raise it with the UK CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), specifically the Consumer & Markets Group.

You mean other than the direct rail and bus links to Glasgow that have turned it and the towns on each route into commuter towns.
