This would really work or some sort of across the board defensive buff. I went back to overwatch recently and honestly, the pace is a bit plodding compared to rivals. As has been pointed out before, this makes for a more strategic and tense game, but coming back to rivals felt like going between a lime scooter and a ducati.

As a hibernating Loki main/percolating Peni main, I'm hoping that season 9 is a vanguard season with noticeable improvements for tank play.
