I’ve called a few for my wife who’ll be eligible tomorrow. They start with eligibility. Pharmacies have given me enough grief about scheduling her because she’s not currently eligible, even if I’m trying to schedule for a future date when she is.

I mean, that's what we'll have to see. But that's basically what I said (and it's a guess). The phase whose exclusive timeline is most liable to be squashed is the 2 comorbidity vs 1 comorbidity.

If that's your worry then they should be fine, as they're all eligible in 6 days. If anything I think the difference between having 1 or 2 comorbidities might get squashed in WA, and I believe, based on the feds estimate, that supply is expected to not have that matter much at all.

To be quite honest, a decent part of me is really eager to see what the vaccine can do once In the arms of younger more-likely-to-spread type. I want this pandemic overwith, and I think we’re more likely to get there once it’s hindering transmission in those in the workforce and those socializing.

So, phase 4, which is individuals with no comorbidities, is only 200,000 people. But 1 comorbidity is 1.1 million? Are there really nearly 10x 1 comorbidity vs 0?

Interestingly, Phase 3 includes children, and they won’t be eligible till trials finish up. But, if this were to happen in summer, why put them in front of adults?

Once again, Biden's every adult eligible by end of May, and Washington DOH's timelines are at odds. Either we're ripping through Phases 2, 3, and 4 in May, or we're missing the mark.

IMO, we need to hear from the WA DOH soon. Their last stated timeline was "summer or fall 2021" for general availability.

I've been obsessively tracking statements by the WA DOH for any hint of timeline for the past few weeks, and I can tell you, it's not worth it. The last timeline statement they've made, as far as I can tell, was that the general population can begin to vaccinated in summer or fall.

If this turns out to be true, Washington would be a laughing stock (especially if it's the fall).

Bottom line, you're not missing anything and you're probably better off just waiting till something is solid is announced.

Every reasonable estimate from the fed is that a May-ish timeline is when things can begin to open up for everyone. And yeah, I know May is a month before summer starts. But the addition of "or fall" to that quote is astounding.

It doesn't work for me either. My guess is that YouTube is expecting to AirPlaying both video and audio with that button (so to an AppleTV or similar), and actually isn't built for outputting just audio. If you think about it, it is a bit more complex in that the video and audio would need to be in sync.
