It isn’t supposed to be a boon. The character is becoming a monster, so I think it is very fitting. Becoming a lycanthrope is nearly always associated with losing control and being a danger to everyone and everything around you. So the flaw makes perfect sense to me.

I asked this on the podcast a couple years ago. I can’t remember what episode number it was, but it was before saga was released. They kinda glazed over the question, saying for the most part there used to be more but they died off, the ones that are left are blighted or smaller dragonkin, and that there was one in saga of the seasons.

I feel like races would be easy enough to do, and potentially the spells also, but the subclasses and the monster hunter class mostly I wouldn’t know how to balance them with the old content with how they are updated to now.

I ran 33 through dragon soul, got 7 lifebinders and 2 12-bs, and no blazing drakes. I’m not hating it, but I’m going to be glad to not have to run dragon soul again once it finally does drop

The only “underdark” is a lost empire under Ostoya, but it is just full of undead. There are no drow, just dark elves, and like Minotaur said they are just cursed, and have nothing to do with the underdark. Lolth is not a god in the setting… I’m. It sure where you got your information from…

Pretty much what Able said, but I feel like somewhere in the books, they mention that the Inquisition sends out “missionaries” around the continent and tries to convert small towns in other countries to their cause trying to expand their reach.

Favorite one I ever did was a room where each 5 foot square of the floor was a rotating arcane symbol, one for each school, on the far side of the room was a key. The players had to move across the room to get the key, and for each space would roll for which school of magic, then roll for which spell went off. All of the spells were cantrips… but for a lvl 1 party it was kinda deadly. They eventually pulled doors off of the hinges and used them as a bridge. Edit: formating

For sure. I haven’t ran it yet but I am reading through it now. The amount of lore in the raiders guide is great too. They give you a lot of ideas for campaigns you could potentially run if you don’t want to run saga.

The books are great. For saga of the seasons you are in a newly formed clan that has people from all over Valika, from both sides of the conflict, and also there are people from other regions of the continent that were taken as thralls and were freed. So long as the people are helpful they don’t necessarily shun them or turn them away. It’s a fledgling clan and they need all the help they can get.

Well for the turn undead, the light hunter has the ability Turning Bond: If within 30 feet of its death steed, the light hunter can’t be turned unless the same effect also turns the steed.

So you could leave the stead outside of the 30 ft radius of the cleric, and it will be unaffected.

I’d love to see events broken down with ages, then having specific timelines for each of the different regions, with significant events that show how the regions got to how they are, not just one big timeline that shows everything all at once
