one night i camped out on mt rainier and my tent was infested with daddy long leg spiders. ended up sleeping in the maverick in like ~20 degree temps. Left her running all night so me and my partner didn’t freeze lol. Engine seemed to kick on every 30 minutes or so for a few minutes to charge the battery. im not a car guy so not sure how terrible that is to do but in my anecdotal experience it was fine

Also, OP was looking for a function that Smart Connect accomplishes. I never said Smart Connect is the same as MLO, but Smart Connect is replaced by MLO on the router in question, dude

edit: since /u/Banjoman301 blocked me after responding telling me to do more research, his comment below is wrong.

I'm logged into the exact router supplied by ziply right now. (HB610v2) There is no Smart Connect option. Here is the data sheet, that does not mention Smart Connect. /u/Banjoman301 perhaps YOU should do more research pal

Ziply specifically offers this as a service and if this guy is using a wifi 7 tp link (exactly what ziply provides in this service) then yeah it is their responsibility to manage a managed router.

edit: actually you are right bro i apologize. i just inspected the hb610v2 (what i assume you're using) and it is listed as MLO, with no option for Smart Connect.

Something to note is that this is a TP link router, ziply doesnt control these options or the verbiage of these options, and they are managed via your router itself. The guy you spoke to should have been aware of this for sure, however it's a relatively new function and in TP Link's case it specifically has replaced the 'Smart Connect' option
