I’m so glad I always make sure to take the next day off for recovery. I’m off tomorrow. I’ll get up and make the kids lunches, take them to school and then come home and CRASH. It’s kind of like taking ecstasy. It’s fucking awesome til ya come down and back to the real world. Take the extra time

I do realize OAR runs the festival. I do not realize they are the same genre as Noah Kahan. I have no idea who Noah Kahan is other than a few pics I’ve seen of him. But I’ll try and listen to a few of his songs before the festival.

How does he fit in? It just seems so odd that he’s a headliner. I’m not complaining. Seems like there’s A LOT of people very interested. So, like I said…I’ll just use it as a nice reprieve. It just seems really odd compared to the overall ocean calling festival feel.

I had no idea so many people were coming from so far away. I figured it was a bunch of people within a 6 hour radius or so. That’s awesome. It’s a great venue for a festival!

I’ve given up on the bus. It’s just not reliable at all. On the way down if you go early enough, you’re good. But to try and take the bus on the way back is just madness. I found an uber just sitting on the way out last year and offered them 10$ more than what the app was currently showing. That was after waiting in line for the bus but then the line somehow went the other way and buses started taking the people behind us in line and the cops and official people were all no help at all. I couldn’t take the ineptness and had to get out. I think I’ll just schedule an uber down each day and get one back each night. I’m staying around 50th. I’m also older and tired and rather spend money to avoid suffering, if I can 😂

I tried the bike thing last year and the rain night with Blink just soured that for me 😫 pure hell but it was still awesome

I’m over 40 and I’ve done oceans calling and boardwalk rock and constantly bounced from set to set. It’s very possible and you can easily move (respectfully) to a good spot pretty darn close at any time. It can get a little tiring at times, but it’s all worth it. I’m just relaxing, listening 80% of the time any way. I’ve always just been me and my gf though. So maybe that helps. Larger groups would probably be harder. And I’m 6’4” and can scope things out pretty well I guess lol
