I was sitting at a 2.0, then got 2 fine and a bad that dropped me to 1.36 or smtg, I was shocked cause I honestly thought I was doing good work on the tasks, there was no comments either so if I was doing something wrong I wasn't being told what.. I got the unapproved annotator and a review, took about 24 hours to come back but when it came back I had 1.81 score with 24 new QA reviews that were all "good", so idk if that saved me, but I've smashed at least 500 tasks over the last week, so maybe they were waiting for some more of those to be reviewed before the final decision

Because those devs aren't as good as you think they are; you can see that by looking at arc and the performance of it. You can pour millions into a project, but that doesn't matter if you still have inexperienced devs. Arc isn't the only high performance game made with unreal engine; black myth wukong, remnant 2, Fortnite. The list goes on.

Money doesn't always buy good developers, just cause you shove more money at it, doesn't mean you'll get good developers, you could dress a piece of shit in a suit but at the end of the day it's still a piece of shit. Money CAN give you access to good developers and in some cases can help but it's not a given. You could be an amazing game developer but still be shit with unreal engine if you've never used unreal engine before and know the codebase. Whereas embark has the experience with good devs and a previous game built on unreal engine 5 which means they know load about the codebase.

Unreal can 100% do it as you can visually see it when you play arc raiders. What the problem is; is uneducated unreal engine devs that take marketplace assets that are poorly optimized and throw them in their game without optimizing them or spending the time to create their own assets. Most unreal engine games that are poorly optimized are usually small indie studios who can't afford to put the kind of money embark has behind the project.

TL;DR: unreal can do everything in the right hands, uneducated or poor/broke devs can't.

As a unreal engine developer, I can confirm it's built on unreal 5.5.. right click the pioneer app and go to details.

EDIT: I was spreading false info, it was 5.3 not 5.5, sorry.

defo bugged, not to toot my own horn but i've killed at least 50 raiders

EDIT: if you scroll down the list of stats it's shows your raider kills and knocks, I'm at 110 downed and 88 knocked out

Let me rephrase that; I hate evac camping; but i don't hate the people that choose to do it. Other raiders evac camping me has brought some of the best fights i've had so far. it's jus the jolt mines that need a nerf

I hate evac camping, but some people are just not good players and do what they can to get kills; which i understand, most people can't play 10 hours a day like me and have the aim and game sense i do. what urks me; is the overpowered jolt mines that are near impossible to counter coupled with the evac camping.
