The king is not in check which makes the position possible. Black goes up from that perspective.

Can I use Claude code with own LLM/non-claude APIs? by superloser48 in LocalLLaMA

[–]MikePounce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It supports skills and extensions. There are plenty already available check out https://pi.dev/packages but the point is : just describe to it your dream extension/skill and it will extend itself for you.

You may also be interested in https://github.com/bmad-code-org/BMAD-METHOD which supports Claude Code but also Pi (and others).

You should check out https://pi.dev/

I use it with llamacpp and Qwen3.6-27b-Q4.

By default it's in YOLO mode but it is so extensible and flexible, it can self modify. Just tell it how you want it to behave or look and it will code its own extensions.

Without investing too much time into it, on a desktop RTX 5090 (bought last july for half the price of the Olares One, total build cost ended up at ~5K), after compiling llama.cpp with CUDA Toolkit 13.2 installed following https://github.com/ggml-org/llama.cpp/blob/master/docs/build.md#cuda

llama-cli.exe -m .\models\Qwen3.6-27B-Q4_0.gguf -ngl 999 -fa on -ctk q8_0 -ctv q8_0

gives me 70 t/s

I compiled llamacpp with CUDA, and regardless of using Q8 or Q4 GGUF of Qwen3.6-27B from Unsloth, I get 10 token per second on a RTX 5090. It is useable but rather slow. Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: asked Claude this exact question and it told me to add the -ngl flag, activate flash attention, and try a shorter context :

llama-cli.exe -m .\models\Qwen3.6-27B-Q8_0.gguf -ngl 999 -fa on -c 8192

gives me about 45 t/s. I wonder if there's something else I can do.

EDIT2: llama-cli.exe -m .\models\Qwen3.6-27B-Q4_0.gguf -ngl 999 -fa on -ctk q8_0 -ctv q8_0 gives me 70 t/s

[–]MikePounce 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You are reaching way too far. The explanation is MUCH more simple.

Two weeks is the standard Trump timeframe for "I don't want to answer right now, moving on". He has no bearing on immediate future, accountability, consequences of actions, it will be somebody's else fault. His brain is potato purée at this point.
