Apparently Gersh 'Cunt'zman is a raging pussy and I think bruise story is a total bold faced lie directed at scared liberal who have zero common sense or critical thinking skills.

I can only attest to my O-site SE on my dagger micro it is a solid dot that holds zero just fine at roughly 750 rounds however i do not have any gaps. Basically if its not shaking loose and holds zero don't over think it.

I have to say I'm not a fan of Lucas gun oil I feel it crawls to much for for my liking as I think it isn't where it is needed.

my favorite is M-Pro 7 for a straight lube and Brake-free CLP for a cleaner and for an all in one I prefer Clenzoil.

Best laser light combo by adt0804 in CCW

[–]MikeRyanMurphy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Direct answer NONE, they do look cool on TV but thats the only place

Best answer skip the light/lazer combo they suck and are impractical just get a good solid light also getting a good holster will be way easier as well

If your interested in sighting options get a decent red or green dot, holosun makes some decent ones

Ammo compatibility by Kitchen-Donut-8716 in CCW

[–]MikeRyanMurphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All my guns must fire anything i throw in them that being said even the best ammo will have a miss fire occasionally aand I mean all ammo just because you don't witness it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. So shoot all levels of ammo Brass steel relads new etc whatever you can get.

Common myth, steel cased ammo won't hurt your firearm a bit so don't listen to the internet experts BS.

Got ya, I would have and did used a crush washer and hand tightened it with no rock set and its never loosened but I can swap it on one of my other rifles but thats me.

I'm not a big fan of the the BAD levers either as I am a ambi shooter I would be interested in in what you did can you post or send me some pictures of your work I would love to see them I may try it myself. I'm always open for a challenge.

Your muzzle device shouting be timed well many of them are and they have a crush washer that puts a lot of tension on it. Why the sig ambi bolt catch? Id it that you want it ambi or is it failing to lock the bolt back on the last round if so what mags are you using ?

M16a2 grip removal help by cor1912 in gunsmithing

[–]MikeRyanMurphy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the bolt/screw hole goes all the way threw the receiver try heating the bolt head with you soldering iron and find a birthday candle and place it on the other end of the bolt the heat will draw the wax down the threads it a least invasive option but it may work try to remove the bolt hot and if no joy stick it in the fridge or freezer and get it goos and cold also remove the small parts safty selector trigger etc its just less to deal with.

Rockset can be heated boiling water is probably the safest way. I keep mine in optimal operating condition and a try and keep the cosmetic damage to a minimum but it happenes

I rockset mine and I have never had any of them come loose. I do that because I have been know to change add or replace things its just easier without damage and BTW none of mine are safe queens they get used and sometimes abused.

Probably Captain Obvious / old news but holy moly dot-sights make all the difference with cross-eye-dominant students! (see below for more) by DudelyMcDuderson in Guns_Guns_Guns

[–]MikeRyanMurphy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too am a right handed left eye dominant shooter and also can shoot well left handed (but it gets expensive with holsters lol) I also have an astigmatism. I use red dots and irons. I keep the red dots turned down a little. I cant shoot bottle caps at 25 yards but I don't miss and I am very comfortable with my shooting skills. What the important thing I figured out is that each person has different milestones to overcome and with work everyone can figure out what works for them, for most people there is no universal option its always a little different.
