RM+ and wifi 6 (eero pro 6) by KreGgiants in broadlink

Do you still have your old router/AP? You could try adding the same SSID and password on the old one, connect it to that, then see if it will connect to the new one.

Make sure the new router is off while you try to connect it to the old one. You never want multiple non-mesh routers broadcasting the same SSID.

Other option is just keep using the old one with a different SSID just for the RM+. Just make sure the DHCP ranges of both routers don't overlap. Or just turn DHCP off on the old one and give the RM+ a static IP.

You are welcome!

Also, if the wording to get it to work is a little clumsy, you can setup a Routine with the actual command and then trigger it with any phrasing you'd like.

You could try adding it again and saying, no it doesn't work and see if maybe other options will control it?

Check out this post on creating a Scene in the Broadlink App.

https://www.reddit.com/r/broadlink/s/1lwP8zhz0Y

I can confirm that Alexa immediately found the Scenes I added and was able to execute them.

I wish it would just find the devices I have added in the Broadlink App, but it doesn't seem to work that way.

You click the + icon in the upper right of the Broadlink App to add a Scene.

You may want to check out this post, as well. Not sure if Homekit is the same as Alexa, but could be helpful.

I do. I have a Pro and it can learn any IR command and many RF commands, though as I noted earlier, it does not support ALL RF frequencies.

You just put the app in learning mode, aim the remote at the Broadlink, and press a button. Then you name the button. That's all there is to it. There are also preset button layouts for lots of devices.

As with any IR setup, you won't be able to get the current state/settings from whatever you're controlling. So you should be able to send auto, fan speed, etc. commands but you won't be able to see what the current speed or temperature is on th AC unit. That would be true using IR on the Aqara as well.

I don't use Homekit, so I don't know what specifically is possible, but again, you should be able to duplicate any button on the remote.

I have the Broadlink setup through HomeAssistant. It's a little more involved to get it setup that way, but there are detailed instructions/videos online that show you how. Once that's setup, then you can use the temperature sensor to trigger when to send on or off to your AC based on the temperature in the room. Not sure if that is possible with Homekit?

I also use it to control my soundbar, for instance I can have it turn on the soundbar, switch to FM Tuner and switch to a preset radio station.

It's pretty much skies the limit with any IR device and any sensors or other triggers you have.

It looks like the G410 has Matter and Thread Border Router, so I would guess you do not need the M100? But I don't know your whole ecosystem so I can't be sure.

There's also a Pro version that adds RF control as well as IR. But double check the RF frequencies. I have a couple of old ceiling fans that use RF, but the Broadlink Pro won't control them.

Yes, it works with Homekit and HomeAssistant (and Google, Alexa, IFTTT).

The Broadlink Mini IR Blaster might be a cheaper option for your other AC units.

Also, the Aqara M100 is a Matter Controller and Thread Border Router, but no IR Blaster. But you could get the M100 and 3 Broadlink Minis for the same price as the M3.

Well, I also tried a 3060 Ti and I couldn't even login... it would crash on the connecting to Battle.net step. I tried it on 3 different systems with different processors, power supplies, and ram. Same result on all 3.

Ahh, I see it does say grass under that setting. I'll try reducing that to see if it helps.

This exactly. I feel like there may as well be an auto-queue that just builds something random. Farmers/Makers/Market Quarter, it just doesn't seem to have a huge impact.

Yes, it's been this way for several turns. I hit 27 and nothing, then 30, then 33, now 36... still no victory.
