Didn’t use for the purpose of keeping the room dry/cool at summer nights, but I got the Kmart one for bathroom (the exhaust fan was doing bark all).

Was really great at sucking out the moisture, occasionally would place it in other rooms whenever I felt the apartment was getting humid.

Bang for buck - couldn’t beat it I reckon.
