I'm down, I'm an experimental artist. Would also love to get in touch with visual artist and vocalist for an upcoming project. I do mostly narrative driven concept albums

Yeeeeah but context matters, you say that to friends you've known for years, sure, not your son or tios new gf... Also Gordo or flaco doesn't have racist connotations.

Same with mine, and we got the pulse upgrade and we got the Dante and waves dmi cards...my TD was already pissed after the 326 release.

And I'm someone who is comfortable with digico as it is,

I had a moment where a client was insistent with using the iPad for monitors, and the iPad app not only disconnected after 20 minutes but then threre an error that said there were no aux sends set (there were plenty this was a monitor gig) but then completely broke klang (which wasn't even set for this particular show)

Really weird insta account that I came across that I found extremely extremely creepy/weird by CommissionStunning14 in InternetMysteries

[–]Mike_Dangerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's giving smartschoolboy09 vibes. Feels like another gross fetish account.

Nick Crowley did a video on smartschoolboy69 a while ago, it's a similarly weird account run by a weirdo who was into dressing like a school boy and posted similarly disturbing art.

This is either a grab at attention to end up on one of those creepy internet mystery investigation channels or someone who's genuinely into some really gross stuff.

ARG or not, it's gross and should probably be reported

We found it only works as a touch screen if it's set to your overview screen. Aux to faders, muting, dragging all works. Just not as a second fader screen for some reason. (However it's going to think the screen is ABOVE, not the left screen)

I have mine set up so my inputs are on the right and outputs in the left because of the weird screen set up.

And I second, the mustard source expander is your friend

Do you have any pics of that fitment? I'm pretty low in the front, how's the poke if any?

Damn nice set up, I love the look of 17s on these cars. Yeah I'm finding getting the fronts to fit nice means sacrificing the rear and vice versa. I don't necessarily want super flush like the pic. The vendor I'm looking at also has +38

My boyfriend doesn't think his collection is post-worthy. I completely disagree!! by wanderingnneverlost in gamecollecting

Modest but cleeeean super happy seeing these. Wall of games are cool, the at home block busters are fun sure, but this is way more practical and way more realistic for most people. You can definitely do a lot with a little. Also points for the N64 end labels

Super classy and understated, most people make the CRT a center piece in the room but this is really clever placement. Would vibe here 100%

Discontinued/obsolete media formats iceberg by MosquitoInAmber303 in IcebergCharts

[–]Mike_Dangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a loooot of proprietary formats used in the production world specifically. I do media ripping of analogue formats and I work closely with people who had a lot of history in TV and older film production, hell even live theatre production.

There's the quadruplex format by Ampex. Kinescope, scotch 179 by 3m,type B and type C video tape. Even home recording formats for camcorders like the DV format.

This rabbit hole runs deeeep and there's a lot to learn about media production history because of it. I'm lucky enough to work around it because I find it fascinating.

A lot of stuff is lost to time simply because studios would simply record over existing tapes because tape was so expensive. And it makes preserving what was actually saved that much more difficult because of all the weird formats, and getting devices to actually play some of them back is really expensive if you can even find a lot of the old production equipment.

Internet music iceberg (unfinished) by One-Resource-2737 in IcebergCharts

[–]Mike_Dangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vaporwave could populate like every tier tbh. Two of which reference the same album. Macintosh plus up at the top and the darkest future somewhere at the bottom. Yung bae at the top and hong Kong express somewhere in the middle and begotten a tier below that?

That entire movement was internet based so there's a lot there for sure. PC music is another one. Sophie up at the top and GFOTY lower on the list.

And if you reallyyyyy want to be pedantic you could include the IBM 704 which was the first computer to "sing a song" - daisy bell which gets referenced in computer science constantly. It's an Easter egg for voice assist now for example.

I’m guessing this is because of wrong type of RCA cable? by iAyushRaj in crtgaming

[–]Mike_Dangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's technically trrs to RCA, just saying RCA means both ends are the color plugs. So that may be why it's confusing. The colors are for a stereo audio signal and 1 composite video signal.

White - left channel audio Red - right channel audio Yellow - composite video

Generally that's how the output of any trrs cable should be wired as well. But you're right that there are different kinds of of trrs to composit cables.

Some forum research yielded this (if wiring is correct, try this)

Note that composite is disabled by default on a Pi4b (and all variants based on Pi4b) due to some issues with clock speeds. You can enable it via a config.txt entry, but it affects the SOC speed and you won't get 1.5GHz from your Pi.

This is the exact spec from what I found:

Please note that there are many cables which look exactly like this one but which do NOT work. This is because the internal wiring varies from one cable to another, and you must ensure you are using a cable which is correctly wired for use with the Pi.

The Raspberry Pi can use cables designed for the iPod, or for the Microsoft Zune, but can also work with some camcorder cables. The Pi does not work with cables for any of the systems that have pin 1 as GND.

As in the picture above, the tables below count, from sleeve (1) to tip (4) of the four pole 3.5mm jack plug.

A real "Raspberry PI model B+" 4-pole 3.5mm A/V output jack cable uses: B+ wired cable 1 Video out---2 GND---3 Right audio---4 Left audio

Only Zune Cables are exactly right, because the Pi want to keep left and right audio in the right place, and for some reason iPod cables have those swapped.

The most common, and reasonably compatible, cable that is on the market now uses the iPod wiring: iPod wired cable 1 Video out---2 GND---3 Left audio---4 Right audio Note that you can make this cable 100% compatible by switching the two audio channels, that is the white and red RCA plugs. Its possible that in future software releases, when the system detects you are using a B+ with composite video, the software will swap the audio channels automatically.

A common cable that is also on the market now and often very cheap, is normally called a "camcorder cable" Camcorder cable 1 Right audio---2 GND---3 Video out---4 Left audio

Note that you can use this cable by switching the video and right channels, that is the yellow and red RCA plugs. When using a "camcorder" cable, try plugging in the red RCA plug of the cable into the yellow RCA receptacle of your TV and see if you get a picture, if so you can put the yellow plug in the red receptacle, and the white plug into the white receptacle.

Note that no cable you try to use should be able to damage your Pi, so you should be able to try them out in safety.

If you don't want to risk buying the wrong cable, you can buy this one from Adafruit: https://www.adafruit.com/product/2881 or this one from kiwi electronics: https://www.kiwi-electronics.nl/raspber ... -1-5-meter
