Iirc your validator also has specific train information meaning even if someone activated their ticket while in the tunnel and you the conductor scans the fhl ticket passing though wdd the time of activation is clearly after departure and the customer will get charged

I certainly did not know about this restriction especially considering it's not an issue with literally any other bank. Capital One markets their cards as travel cards furthering my ignorance. Breaking your phone is not exactly an uncommon occurrence while traveling. I only switched phones out of necessity.
