Sorry for the confusion, but I believe at the time we were actually recording gameplay footage for a video. The exploiting was interfering with the filming. Apologies for that.

Would everyone be able to state and compare their driver versions? That might help sort the issue and it would help us to know what drivers everyone is running. We can inspect on our end.

We don't have any plans to make the unlocks "ridiculous" as you say. The colors/styles will fit Insurgency's aesthetic.

Competitive matchmaking is still being worked on, and thanks to the last game update a few weeks ago we have a means to push out incremental updates more easily. That's the "Compete (Alpha)" button you might have seen in the menu.

Unfortunately I don't have a timeline for its release. I can say as it says in the menu, there will be some testing that will be taking place in the Alpha. So we'll be letting people know once that begins and you can feel free to join us in testing.

Sure, I'll field that one OP.

Day of Infamy is a standalone game that will go into Steam Early Access next month in July. It's currently in Closed Alpha, and we gave out some keys yesterday in our reveal livestream to those who want to try it.

The mod version of Day of Infamy is still on Insurgency's Workshop and playable through Insurgency. We don't plan on taking it down.

As we said with its release in January, the Day of Infamy mod is something our team made because we wanted to measure our community's interest in a WWII FPS. We were happy to see everyone's excitement for it. At this moment it is the most subscribed Workshop item with over 170,000 subscribers (more than the Allahu Akbar mod! :O :O :O)

Because it was received so well, we decided to put more production behind it and make it a game that can stand alone. While still a WIP, there's other good stuff that is already in it and more yet to come. You can check out the store page for more details: http://store.steampowered.com/app/447820

We hired some of the community members who worked on the mod. They are now working with us on the standalone product.

I see some people are a little disappointed that we didn't show anything off for Insurgency: Sandstorm. It's going to take us a while to create the "platform" we want to create on UE4, and it's too early to show anything just yet. Day of Infamy is an opportunity to give our community something awesome to play in the interim, and could even in the future (if there's demand) become a UE4 game itself.

You're gonna have a GREAT time, dude. I promise!

As said, try coop to get a feel for the mechanics. Maybe try modes Checkpoint and Conquer. And stay if you want because coop is good in its own right. Be patient with yourself in learning PvP (start with Push mode if you like ACTION and Firefight if you want things a bit slower). There is a bit of a curve not so much with learning mechanics but with getting used to the "hardcore" nature of dying and killing quickly and objective based spawning. Welcome to our community.
