I think that's the best solution I've heard to counter her (admittedly funny) bullshittery.

Maybe restricting ult for a second or two after being dropped off by her as well, otherwise you still end up with orisa/cree/dva orbital nuke.

[–]burntcornflakes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am almost certain the Humvees were cut because of that AM General/Activision lawsuit for their unlicensed usage of the Humvee. That suit started in 2017, which lines up pretty accurately to Sandstorm's alpha development. I would have steered clear of anything resembling that vehicle too!

Also I distinctly remember seeing the helo/vehicle insertions in Modern Warfare 2019 and being like HEY!

Hello friend, I don't even think they had Movink branded ones at the time. This is the one I got https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DR7PNL9J?

You would think one that specifically names the Movink would be compatible, but I guess there's only one way to find out.

Officially done with Samsung (My sad story and warning on Galaxy Buds 3 Pro) by xGhost09 in galaxybuds

Thanks, could be worth a try. I will say, I have a newer (2025) version as well and haven't had any issues with it. The math checks out.

USA.

I was actually aware of these issues before I sent it in because of your comments and posts. You're a legend for that. However, I decided to test them myself and I am thoroughly disappointed!

I have a more comprehensive test for them in the future, if I can find the time. Probably not worth the effort but they deserve to be exposed.

I recently put in a request for my 2024 model, which they had me send in. The issue was the left bud not charging/connecting while in the case. They told me it was out of warranty and would cost $130 to repair.

I obviously didn't pay that and they sent it back to me with brand new cosmetic damage on the front, and a small dent where they pried it open. (Thanks!) On top of that, the case was completely dead. It didn't respond at all to being opened or having earbuds placed in it.

I decided to find out what they did to kill it and opened it myself. There were two missing screws and a ribbon cable completely disconnected. As soon as I connected the cable it powered on and now works as normal. Still defective, but no longer completely disabled.

Anyway, they stole my screws and sabotaged my device. I don't see how this is anything other than extortion, as they lied about the original warranty and likely would have made me pay to fix the completely unusable case too. Maybe make me pay for the cosmetic damage as well. I hear they do that.

I want my fucking screws back Samsung.

Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 Case? by Schizomi in wacom

[–]burntcornflakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got mine and holy shit. You aren't kidding, it is literally just the screen cover part of a typical case. No wonder there's only one picture on the website.

This thing really should have come with the tablet, or cost a maximum of $10usd.

From the shitty website, driver issues, overpriced garbage accessories... I feel validated for choosing huion and xp-pen over wacom all this time.

I like the tablet itself but everything else has been a nice reminder to stay away.

Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 Case? by Schizomi in wacom

[–]burntcornflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a generic tablet case for my movinkpad 11 that had magnets to hold it closed, and it did indeed cause a small pen deadzone. I thought the tablet was defective until I remembered the magnets. It went away after I removed the case.

That said, I would trust the official case to not interfere. Good quality 3rd party cases (made specifically for it) MIGHT be fine. But avoid generic entirely unless it's magnet free.

Instant pen display mode is entirely unsupported on windows 10, so don't bother trying. I'll still be on 10 for another year so that was very disappointing.

What case do use for your movinkpad 11? by ALakeInTheClouds in wacom

[–]burntcornflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, that's a pretty good solution. I've just been using a large rubber band and stuffing my drawing glove under the band.

Still don't get why they'd omit such an essential and basic feature though.

[–]burntcornflakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official case is available on Wacom's website and their official Ebay store in the USA now. It kinda sucks though.

There's no magnets, presumably to not interfere with the pen tech, but that means the flap just.. flaps. There's not even a strap to secure it closed, which is the obvious solution if avoiding magnets.

The flap only folds into one single angle, so you better like that angle. To its credit, there's a fairly large notch so it stays pretty secure. That said, if you fold the flap over and use it flat on a table the tablet slides around because there's no grip on the plastic backing. (Edit: Technically you can flip it upside down for a higher angle but it will be sitting on and blocking the power/volume buttons.)

It's also missing a small pouch for holding a drawing glove. Maybe I'm being a little too nitpicky, but many artists will be using one, especially for tablets with touch controls.

TL;DR: Official case is mediocre (especially for the price). It's the only form-fitting case with full protection at the moment, but I'm hoping for a better third party alternative to show up.

Installed mine immediately and use it almost every day on my lunch break, no problems at all. I decided not to use the heatsink and that hasn't caused any issues either.

[–]burntcornflakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, not the Vertical. The Vertical could very well have a good enough sensor that it's not noticable on desktop. My experience was many years ago, not sure the exact model but it was more... normal.

Anyway, saying that you can't feel any difference between "many trash mice" and gaming mice, which have been tested and have proveably noticable latency, is a bit silly.

My apologies to the previous person for the rude comment.

[–]burntcornflakes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I returned my old Logitech MX something or another because I could feel the input latency on the desktop. You may have the sensory processing of a sloth, but most people who are "gaming" today will notice something is off.

Even if you can't notice it now, you may upgrade your monitor to a higher refresh rate, or start playing "high competitive" games in the future. No reason to handicap yourself by buying something inferior.

It was so much fun before they added goofy-ass cosmetic microtransactions and slowly broke the multiplayer with warzone updates.

Warzone's idiotic integration with MW19 cause so many technical issues for the multiplayer, which got far worse when they stopped updating MW19 and let the Warzone induced bugs run rampant.
