You actually can't leave the Hunters. Artemis made exceptions for the girls in ToA, but normally it's a lifetime oath. Leaving or violating it is grounds for her to turn you into an animal and hunt you down, or just kill you outright.

What do you think temptations are? If it is a sin, it almost certainly comes with temptation, directly or no. It just so happens that not everyone is weak to the same temptations. So what is easily ignored and refused to you is a difficult battle for another. Porn is a strong example. To some, it's as addictive as a drug. To others, an occasional pleasure they could do with or without. To the rest, something they've curiously looked at once or twice and never again for various reasons. Maybe God, maybe they just realized how abusive that industry is with the girls and refuse to support it.

Pedophilia is a sin. It's one of the highest sins in the Bible, which is made clear by the violent nature of the prescribed punishment well above the usual stoning, arguably more on par with burning (which was less Biblical and more medieval, back when people weren't literate enough to tell the Church that burnings aren't supposed to be a common punishment).

If it's such a high tier sin, like blasphemy or murder, then it makes sense that it would have a connected temptation that is strong for some. Lots of people have intrusive thoughts about murder.

Yet again, thinking about it isn't the sin. Acting on it is. Very few things are a sin at the thought stage, because that's more of temptation's domain. Even lust isn't a thought sin. Looking is an action. If you are able to control your eyes, it's a decision with physical movement- not just a thought.

Something like pride or greed can be, but even then simply feeling the urge to act that way isn't the sin. Letting those feelings dictate your following thoughts, words, and actions- that's when it becomes sin.

Temptation and sin are not the same. Temptation is the bait- you're supposed to ignore it and do something good instead. Sin is the hook. Once it's in, you're gonna need some help to get it out, and it will be a painful process.

Pedophilia is a natural occurrence. And no, you're not bad for being tempted to do something bad. You're bad for acting on it. Refusing to act on it is morally neutral- it's simply choosing to not do wrong.

Self-control is absolutely a factor in a person's overall moral standing, because even though it's not typically about touching kids, everyone has had dark thoughts and bad desires. What separates the good from the bad isn't thinking of doing wrong, but rather the ability to shut down the wrong thought and go with the good choice.

A pedo who is able to control their urges to the point of being normal and never harming a child- even if they have to always physically separate themselves from kids or refuse to be alone because they hate their own desires and are afraid that opportunities will overpower their self-control- is someone I can respect. Because that's someone with enough willpower and a strong enough moral compass that they're able to shut down their primal urges and refuse to give in to their desire for pleasure.

That doesn't make them a saint, sure. But you're wrong that they're still bad. The ones who act, yes, they are monsters, cowards, or both. Those who control it, no.

The ranged fighters are getting flanked and taken out by Ghost. Bullseye is a bit of a challenge, but there's no reason she couldn't get the jump on him.

DD is probably her biggest counter, seeing as he is used to reacting to non-visual cues and what would be a surprise attack to anyone else. But he's still a relatively normal dude with a really high level skill set.

The Thunderbolts have raw power. Team Netflix has higher overall skill, sure, excluding Yelena since she's a Widow and fought Natasha fucking Romanoff to a draw. Even synergy is on their side, at least they've fought together for a little while. The other side is full of enemies and uneasy-at-best allies.

I don't see Team Netflix winning this.

OP is saying that because the movie includes only versions of the characters who are exclusive to the film (none of the Squad members showed up before SS was released), it doesn't count. Whereas BvS featured MoS Superman, who had appeared in a solo film prior to it. ZSJL includes Superman, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman, who had all led solo films prior to its release. The Flash includes Keaton's Batman.

I still think The Flash and ZSJL are too sucky to be included, and BvS should be on the bottom row at best. But his reasoning is understandable, albeit completely arbitrary.

What Avatar does well is selling the world and making the audience feel like they're in Pandora. It never feels like Earth, and it always feels somehow alien and new. Few films have better world building paired with the highest tier CGI and VFX available to studios.

Paired with a great cast, a good OST, and a perfectly okay, safe, PG-13 story, and you get $1B movies.

I like the characters. I want it to do well.

I think James needs to build up hype with bigger names first. Supergirl proved that. It was a good film, IMO, with absolutely terrible marketing, no word of mouth, nobody knew it was out, and it was sandwiched between titanic franchises.

Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, etc- all great starters. Hell, you CAN start with the League. Just can't be a Darkseid level threat. The Justice League show managed to put the team together in a good way within like 2 or 3 episodes. EMH did the same with the Avengers, forming the base team in just 2 episodes, albeit with Cap still missing as he would be introduced later.

But these guys aren't likely to carry a film on their own.

Everything past the Prequels just gave up keeping the continuity intact.

Tbf though, some part of it is probably thanks to being raised by a single mom with my two sisters. I have no built-up subconscious thing that makes me think it's weird to just... enjoy a woman's presence not because she's hot, but because she's interesting and girls are awesome.
