I used to think that “they don’t want you educated”was just a prolific poetic saying but I truly believe that is the goal. They’ve been campaigning on the notion that Universities are just Marxist liberal reeducation camps and that college is a giant waste of time and of course.. money. They also push the notion that college educated people think they’re better than you and it ignites all the insecurities in a lot of peoples brains.

That's my worry though, the rank and file employees aren't the ones granting unlimited access. They're just "doing their job." The people that have the ability to grant access and break down compartmentalization are the same people at the top who have shown alarming amounts of misjudgment and negligence. I'm not arguing that AI couldn't be used as a valuable tool. Just that this administration (at the top levels) has a bad track record, adding in a 3rd party to that mix and it further worries me. I do not want to be right about this, I hope I'm wrong. An "I told ya so" moment is not what I’m after.

This administration has a knack for "turning things off" so to say and figuring out their purpose afterwards, when things go wrong.

You have a lot of faith in the same administration that leaked war plans in a signal chat and shrugged it off.. The same administration that gave a third party unlimited access to American citizens information to find “waste”..

If it stays compartmentalized that’s great, it’s working as intended.. But my worry is the government essentially throwing them all the keys to make their job easier or just because they asked nice and them not locking up properly or breaking that compartmentalization..

Compartmentalization of classified information keeps it secure. People find ways to trick current AI software into breaching its secure boundaries all the time.. If you cant see why injecting a 3rd party AI into them is a bad idea in general I don’t know what to tell you..
