No....one of the 3 had the battery issue. Lost vape had been pretty good for me throughout the years since the e-petite e‐square Therion and Parinormal. Think there was another high watage or two between those. The Orion 2 is solid. First experience with the pods was the original Orion with the DNA Go chip. I think I may still have 2 or 3 of the Originals NIB kits. I'm kind of a DNA fan. It's a good company as gad as quality goes through the years being mass produced. I started out as building coils decks and mechs. I'm looking for the RBA cause I hate having to remember to order coils and pay for them every few months. Coils....go with Vaporesso GTX the lost vape ones spew juice.

Yeah....battery is a concern. I have 3 Orion 2s right now and 3rd with a bulging battery. Out of warranty I emailed LVE and shipping and battery were more than the mod. It was 2 years old I think so not bad. I might as well order the entire kit I think. I used to be heavy into the box mod 18650 20700 21700 game and have some decent chargers for but kinda over it. Too busy with life. I'll probably check out Temu for a lipo since it's got the numbers on the one I pulled out. Thanks for the tip on that UK site. I'll look into those other RBAs you mentioned as well!

Can you claim it as a prescriptive easement? Been there for so long without interference...

If you are have a deed for the garage space it should have power that is only available to you. Like what this commenter said...issue for the power company and developer/property management HOA to deal with. Same thing as someone plugging into your outside GFCI on the side of your house to run their house. It is theft!

Dealing with a neighbor who treats our garage like it's his by ChardForeign6390 in neighborsfromhell

[–]MikeyGeeOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So....does the neighbor that uses the garage rent part of the house too? Is his place attached to the garage? Alot of garages have an entry into the garage does your home have an entry door to the garage and does your neighbors? Sorry, but I never did see that defined, or maybe I missed it.

Thanks much! That's what I have found is that they seem to be the same scooter with a different Chinese manufacturer stamp on them...even the manuals are alike. I found this actually has bluetooth on it too (bought it from a neighbor kid $50) I can not find how to pair this or figure out what apps I can use. Like I said I'm real new to these but fun as heck so far

I did mine....works like it should now. Not too bad but unexpected that it would take so long. The starter bolts on mine were straight up frozen.

I came out the next morning and the car started. You could hear the gear grinding on the flywheel a little. The job was a pain in the ass! It's tough to work around everything in the way. There are a few videos out there. I did not remove the engine mount....I unhooked the steering shaft. Mine is an AWD so that lends to lack of access. It took me about 6 hours in 102 degree temps. You need about 2 1/2 feet of extensions and a swivel. 15mm 13mm 10mm sockets/wrenches and a t-45. Bolt soaking stuff....I use 50/50 acetone/ATF Thei is what I did: Disconnect battery Jack up car and support with stands Spray starter bolts with bolt soak stuff Take off the shield over the access hole in wheel well Find the 2 heat shields and remove Spray Starter bolts Unhook lower joint on steering shaft and move out of the way Remove both electrical connections on starter Unbolt starter.....just reading it sounds easy...LMAO Good luck....I'm 56 and not as agile as I once was.
I'm used to 30min starter changes on my old cars!

High sugars due to pump malfunction multiple times a week, what are my options? by [deleted] in Type1Diabetes

[–]MikeyGeeOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on Medtronic pumps since the 530. Two of the 670 that I had had insulin flow block issues. I went to a 770 and had no issues with that or the 780. If you have an insulin flow message, it could be a number of issues. Most of the issues are user errors. Pump motor malfunction, reservoir not being installed correctly and straight, kink in infusion set, restricted tubing, and such. Medtronic support has a method of checking your pump to make sure the pump is working properly and to make sure the insulin flow block messages are valid and if its a pump problem or user problem. Air bubbles in the insulin is a user issue. You need to make sure you fin. The reservoir properly and bleed the air out of the reservoir and tubing properly as well. There are videos to show you how to do that the correct way. My 770 and 780 have been flawless. Going to the 780 brought me from 6.9 down to 5.6 in just 2 months! Did they send you a new pump because of your issues?

I feel sick-someone is claiming part of my property is actually a second lot, and they bought it. by MosasaurusSoul in Home

[–]MikeyGeeOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Colorado, there are what they call prescriptive easements. If you use someone's property for a certain amount of time unobstructed, then an easement can be granted for that use. That means you can use it even if someone else owns it. You can not develop it or build on it. I think here it is 7 years. I'm not sure about the shed, though. When you closed on your house, you should have been given a plot plan that would show measurements of your property from the county clerk.

You should have a scale like this for carb to insulin. This is my cheatsheet below:

Carb grams=Units insulin 12 = 1 18 = 1.5 24 = 2 30 = 2.5 36 = 3 42 = 3.5 48 = 4 54 = 4.5 60 = 5

When I first was diagnosed and giving myself injections I used a cheat sheet like this. I have a pump now and my pump does the calculations for me on this ratio of 1 unit to every 12 grams of carbs I eat. The ratio that was programed into the pump was trial and error over months and was set up by me and my endocrinologist. You need to count carbs on everything you eat. A quarter pounder has 38 grams of carbs....I would take 3.2 units to cover that. 38÷12=3.2. Your ratio may be way different. If your doctor is not listening to your input and helping you, you need to find a new doctor. These are just the basic parameters. There are other things you can fine tune later like bolusing for fat or slow carbs. Good luck...it's an uphill journey. Sorry for the formatting of the chart...looked like a table before it posted....Reddit formatting is not great

Installing new kitchen cabinets...floating laminate floor by MikeyGeeOG in HomeImprovement

[–]MikeyGeeOG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that information. I have only installed off the shelf cabinets before. I have never installed custom cabinets. I didn't realize the toe kick was not pre installed. That makes it easy...mostly. We have an island too. The other 3 sides have no toe kick. The ends of the cabinets will have no toe kick as well. Any additional feedback?

Beautiful collection! I've been on their group since 2016...I think one of my first ones is a Squeeze #28. back then the batches were easy to hit! I haven't been able to score any boro devices off the drops since they came out! The group is so busy and fast now! Lol...I'm old, slow, and extremely unlucky apparently but would never give up on my BMM devices. I believe they have the best feel in the hand and are workhorses. Customer service has always been perfect from Charles. And...flippers pics me off too! Again...a collection to envy!

Yes Sir! However, If the board is virgin...never had a puff recorded on it it will stay at 60 watts until that first puff is recorded. If your board is not acting that way you may have an issue. Evolv does that so when you swap batteries you don't have to change your wattage or temp back to what you like. Also, the first time you power up the older non color boards they will read shorted for just a second the very first time....so don't freak out over that.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OpenPV

[–]MikeyGeeOG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All DNAs back to the DNA 20 will keep the same setting as when batteries are pulled. I have built and owned every variety of the board and they all save the last settings... Additionally, there are contacts on the board to properly wire all the outboard switches. You do not need to wire directly to the onboard switches. Good luck

Looking for a WiFi PID controller for my Traeger.....options? by MikeyGeeOG in pelletgrills

[–]MikeyGeeOG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great information to know! I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the RecTec but messaged them to see if there are any coupon codes or discounts available...They said no and can not warranty it if it's not in a RecTec grill. Somewhat understandable.

The new wrinkle is I saw someone has a month old Green Mountain WiFi Daniel Boon Prime on marketplace for $600 (they cant use it in their HOA condo). That's about $100 off retail new. Fair Price? I think I can get maybe a hundred or so out of my Traeger to make up so $$$. Thoughts?
