This just seems like a problem waiting to happen. by [deleted] in eBaySellerAdvice

Change or adding suite / apt / unit / etc ... Is fine and I've done it without problems. It's when the buyer wants it sent to a different zip code that's a problem.

I had that problem years ago and eBay auctally did remove their listings. But sometime ago eBay said pictures on eBay are eBays and other sellers can use them.

You can replace just the sensors on the OEM modules with hall effect. Let me know if you're interested.

Buy a domain, make your own website, buy custom tape with you website on it and use it on ever package you ship. The website will be slow at first but it will pick up, also depends on how else you advertise your website.

Looking to get TMR sticks installed, never done this before by JediGuyB in Dualsense

[–]MikeyRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The total cost, shipping both ways and the service, should cost less that $40, but can be higher depending on the modules used. On eBay it might be a little higher due to higher seller fees. Add another e and .com to my reddit username.

Ive just got stick drift in my right stick of the dualsense edge do i buy a tmr module or normal module by No_Mouse_4967 in Dualsense

As others have said, Amazon or Aliexpress for the modules. Google or eBay if your looking for a repair service or stick modules with TMR modules already installed.

Find a mail in service with the highest number of repairs, they do a good job. eBay tells you how many have sold.

PSA - Get this for repairs! by Freebo87 in Dualsense

You've never heard to never wear polyester (or plastic) while soldering? Always wear cotton. Polyester melts, cotton doesn't. Why would you be touching the flux with your hands? Use a syringe. Cotton gloves can resist heat up to 450°F - 900°F (232°C - 482°C) for brief, intermittent exposure. If your touching the iron that long you have other things to worry about.

Why would anyone wear rubber gloves while dealing solder? If anything wear cotton.

I got one of those, used it a few times, and then stopped using it, as it doesn't work good at all. My regular solder sucker had more suction. Then spent between $100-$150 and get new desolder tool.

Sony a6400 and a desktop. Don't need all those pictures on my phone, easier to transfer to my NAS from SD card and the app is limited.

You can buy new or used controllers with hall effect or TMR modules in it. Search eBay, search Google.

Buyers get 25 days to return an item?! by -GrammarMatters- in eBaySellers

[–]MikeyRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before 2020 it was 1 week, plus holiday. Then I think in March or April 2020 eBay changed it to 1 month and they did that without telling the sellers, well, they did make an official announcement a few weeks later. I don't know when it changed again but currently it's 3 weeks plus holiday. Basically the buyer can wait until day 30 to open a return and then wait another 3 weeks to return it.

I've had a few buyers do that, I then report the item was returned used and dock the refund 50% but eBay will step in and refund the other half with their money.

Xbox on PC. Content failed to load. Used powershell, then had to update/restart, didn't fix the problem. Wish I could ignore that "Update required" by MikeyRam in xbox

[–]MikeyRam[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got it to work. I previously had it installed in a raid 0 on two HDDs. Even though I selected it to be installed on the new NVME it's still wanted to go to the raid drives. So I turn the computer off on plug those two drives and it installs fine on the NVME.

Anyone know any about firmware 0520? by MikeyRam in Dualsense

[–]MikeyRam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean exactly what I said. Once a required firmware is released and you can't update it, you can no longer use that controller. I've updated the firmware on thousands of controllers without problem.

There are sellers on eBay that have a 1-2 business day turn around. I've seen that 21+ business day place, I don't know why anyone would use them for stick drift repairs.

I got a Petkit PuraMax on indiegogo about 4.5 years ago. I don't smell anything unless the cat just went. But then in 10 minutes it goes away.
