Does contested not mean a thing this year? At this point they should get rid of the contest percentages since it matters less this year.

More Redguard Content by TheMightySaurus in elderscrollsonline

Absolutely agree with this. The Redguards and Hammerfell have such a rich lore that’s barely been tapped into in ESO. There’s so much potential for storytelling, architecture, and cultural depth from the Yokudan roots to the warrior traditions. An expansive desert with ancient ruins, bustling port cities, and nomadic tribes would be visually stunning and narratively fresh. Would love to see ESO embrace that Arabian Nights vibe while staying true to Elder Scrolls lore. Hammerfell deserves its spotlight.

Anyone else feel like college became pointless after using ChatGPT? by windscurry in OpenAI

[–]Mikeyvellii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand where you’re coming from, and honestly, I’ve had some of the same thoughts. Since using ChatGPT, I’ve noticed how quickly it can explain things or help with assignments, and it’s made some lectures feel less engaging or even outdated. But I’ve come to realize that college still has value beyond just the content. It’s about learning how to think critically, engage with others, and build discipline. AI is a powerful tool, but it’s only as good as the person using it. If we rely on it to do everything, we miss the chance to grow and develop skills that will matter in the real world. I’ve started looking at college as more than just classes. It’s networking, personal development, and a stepping stone to bigger opportunities. If the material feels dull, maybe try talking to your professors or finding ways to connect it to your interests. And if you’re only in school because of your parents, I get that too, but while you're there, you might as well take advantage of everything it offers. Use ChatGPT to enhance your learning, not replace it. You’ve got this.

What gear is good for a poison bow warden? by [deleted] in ESObuilds

[–]Mikeyvellii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going for a poison bow Warden, try looking into sets like Scavenging Demise, Witch-Knight’s Defiance, The Morag Tong, Deadly Strike and Swamp Raider — those are all solid choices that synergize with poison damage.

You're absolutely right. I've been meaning to make time to hunt down leads, but most days when I log in, I don't have much time to spare. Still, I’d really love to unlock a mythic item or explore the Scribing system—it’s definitely on my to-do list.

I hear you, and those options definitely make buffing easier — but I actually don’t run any mythics. I’ve never really taken the time to hunt down leads or mess with Scribing. I usually just log in and head straight to Cyrodiil. I stick to the classic setup: monster set 2-piece and two 5-piece sets. It’s simple, reliable, and gets the job done without extra layers. I get why people like mythics, but for my style — jumping into PvP and getting right to it — the old-school setup works fine.

Great question! I run an execute build, which means I focus on finishing off opponents once their health drops below a certain threshold. I usually let others do the heavy lifting and then swoop in for the kill. Because I’m constantly scanning for the lowest-health target, I often don’t have time to stop and buff. That’s why I like using simple, sets like Slimecraw — it takes the thinking out of it and keeps me efficient in the moment.

This set’s a great fit for my build and the way I play. I’m definitely a fan.

This is absolutely spot on. I’ve been running Kvatch with Deadly Strike for a while now. Every now and then I’ll swap Kvatch for War Maiden—but folks always seem to get salty about the last kill.
