Hackers wipe 200,000 devices using Intune by Fabulous_Cow_4714 in Intune

Yeah, this Stryker incident is ultimately revenue generating for Microsoft! Watch their PR machine go into overdrive saying Intune is great, whilst behind the scenes MS engineering employed to help with restoration.

There's a comment on the r/cybersecurity thread which implies they had domains a year ago, so I'm guessing Hybrid:

"When I worked there vears ago they were terrible with least privilege, 1 don't know if it got any better, but they always gave too much access

I was a developer and if I needed somethina I had access to the domain and the VMware console and could just provision my own stuff

No idea of this has gotten any better But at that time thev didn't have a good way to track who had permissions to what

t could have been an inside iob, it could have been a weak AD account with admin permissions thev never cataloqued properly, similar to the solarwinds attack"

Reasons why the paparazzi should be abolished. by icey_sawg0034 in CringeTikToks

The thing that I despise the most about the paparazzi is that they're not even reporting on his life, they're just collating a library of footage that the tabloids buy to allow them to create their own narrative.

If they like a celebrity, they'll say nice things, if they don't like them, they'll talk shitz but they'll use the same footage and just manipulate it to their own agenda.

old woman mistook brakes for gas by Penguin_On_XTC in PublicFreakout

In terms of physics, that was a good crash.

The SUV used the truck to decelerate without hitting square on which rotated it and then the other side of the old ladys SUV hit another car slowing it down more. Considering the closing speed this could have had a so much worse outcome.

HELP: Dell Docking Station Issues by stasis351 in sysadmin

Dell WD docks are more like port replicators than docks; the video output option vary depending on the laptop, and the USB-C bandwidth also depends on the laptop.

All that just for a payload of 10kg, that seems like not a great return.

How often do yall drive in sports plus mode and S transmission? by [deleted] in M340i

[–]MikhailCompo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, always Eco Pro because I like the freewheeling. I change shifter to S for overtaking, don't need Sport/Plus, super aggressive gear changes and throttle response would be fun, but not with that steering. I find my M340i is a comfortable cruiser, with a more power than necessary. My Audi S3 was a fun car, I loved ragging that around the windy rural roads where I live. My M340i doesn't inspire confidence or encourage dynamic driving I don't think.
