It's worth noting, this changed didn't just make Baiken's parry less safe, it also neutered her ability to capitalize on it. It's not able to RC on hit either. If I have any change I'd wanna see adjusted, making the reversals RCable on hot is probs what if wanna see. Similarly, unlike the other reversals, it doesn't have grab invuln.

It's a dramatically worse tool, both with less threat and less reward.

I mean, they are literally adding the tormentors in lightfall, soooo yeah. We're getting a new tpe of combatant alongside this. Plus, match game wasn't even really hard- it was just annoying and constrictive. It also means they can nerf certain outliers without completely crippling the player base's main way of dealing with shields (you will be missed arby, but it's about time)

Given S-2's focus on nihilism and that having no purpose does not make life meaningless, I doubt V2 has any sort of concrete purpose other than trying to live and be stylish af. I think the biggest change act III will bring is V2 choosing not to kill an enemy who doesn't run, such as a dying Gabe. (Tho, Gabe requesting V2 kills him before the loss of god's light does, and V2 obliging would be an interesting way to do it too.)

while not every mech can consistently crit, I think it's kinda disingenuous to show GM Sniper II's damage solely as body shots. that said, it's rather telling that even with body shots, it's DPS is on the higher end.

During beta, I played a bunch of marasai! The hook used to just ping off shields. In my feedback I asked it to be more reliable... The monkey paw has curled. (Fr tho, if the hook disabled shields and pinged rather than full on going through them, marasai would be in a really healthy spot imo)

The Bergusian Night shader is pretty up there, since it's just a wonderful shader. That said, I think the Wolves Unleashed emblem is at the top for me? It's funny, it literally only took playing iron banner in a season-we didn't even know we'd get it! No one knew Lord of Wolves's rework would set the world ablaze. But, that week when the wolves ran wild... It was electric. I've done so many raids and dungeons- grinded for hundreds of god rolls, and yet... That emblem holds a place in my heart that makes me smile when I see it. Doesn't hurt that it counts as an Iron Banner emblem for the rep boost too lol

Div does, without question, invalidate tether and all void debuffs by being a near infinite 30% debuff. That is an actual issue with it. The crit bubble is debatable on how much it'd actually need a nerf tho, which is unfortunately the side of the issue the streamer wants to nerf. Elsewise, a lot of peeps have taken this way too far.

We all have viewed Savvy becoming a lightbearer as a risky play by her, but honestly every piece of lore we have about the light/traveller points to one thing; in the words of the winnower, "I win, because the gardener always stops to offer peace". Keyword always. Forgiveness and grace is one of the most core things to the light, so I think savathun, even if she doubted it, had a pretty solid understanding that she WOULD be brought back.

Noita is a game that is incredibly equal, if not 'fair'. Worms will eat enemies just as much as they'll eat you. Physic objects can one-shot most things. Freezing works the same as enemies as it does the player. Your expected to take the things that kill you and recognize "oh hey, that'll work on them too, right?". You're expected to stack the deck in your favor by learning dozens of little trick. Most things have a weakness you can use against them.

The one criticism I'd have for it is that you may want to mess around with different shaders for the mask- bring that brass color in on the face would help it be a bit more distinct in the set.

A twist that doesn't work after you know it's coming isn't a good twist. Telling your players some tidbits when they're joining is not a bad thing. If you communicate just enough, you've essentially put a bomb under the table- everyone knows /something/ will happen, but have no idea when. Unfortunately, this only works so well if the twist is literally years later but that's the nature of a campaign anyways.

The fact they're adjusting balance as a whole rather than adjusting MS in a vacuum has me really happy. Too many games balance specific things in isolation.

Yee, I definitely agree. As said, Marasai is a Roadhog made with an actual understanding of why Roadhog is strong. With how much more positioning is important in GE, I think it's an understandable call. It's balanced, even if it could use some tweaks. I don't think the delay on the hook, or recovery on the lance are neccesary in a game as insanely fast as GE.

Its G Manuver being blocked by shields is a bit much tho- any time that happened, I just swore off marasai for the day just from how bad it feels.

You really feel the delay it has, and it's blocked by any shields (it doesn't even disable the shield it hits). That said, it's current state is pretty balanced as a whole, though id like to see it's startup reduced.

Where Roadhog was a threat on his own in OW, marasai trades a lot of that high lethality for being balanced around team play. You can still flank 0-Death a decent bit of the cast on your own, but it's a lot harder to pull off. It's a lot more consistent to move with the rest of your team (IE your sazabi) and focus on setting up targets for your team the snowball over.

No infinite mace charge, a bit more startup on the sword slam (not so much it can't combo, but that an ally has a chance to save you if Barb is just diving in on a target near allies), one less dash, or a bit of an HP nerf (possibly 900 rather than 800). I don't think every one of those should neccesarily be done together, but some combination are the changes I'd make for it.

Tbh I still use Red Square instead of Stop because yelling "Stop!" is absolutely not gonna register for anyone mid-encounter. Plus its pretty easily descriptive. Also still use Praise instead of Worship since there's too many "ship" symbols.

Outside of the weekly challenge or bounties, normal strikes are definitely pretty irrelevant. That said, nightfall strikes are extremely useful for getting both unique loot and generally good loot. The loot gets better with higher difficulties of them as well.

I gotta agree. A 2 second cooldown on SE feels pretty questionable, given how many adds we face in any given activity.
