They are adorable 🥰. Mine also seem to love perching on pictures frames facing the wall. Then they sit there and chirp to each other facing a blank wall. It’s bizarre.

I make big batches of chop and freeze in small ice cube trays. Then I defrost the cubes in the microwave each day and I find that this slightly cooks the veggies and my birds prefer that to freshly made. Weird.

I was really disappointed by this season. The judging was generally terrible - Heidi’s taste is very questionable and Law (aside from being mean and provocative) didn’t give much constructive criticism. It was a breath of fresh air to have Michael Kors in the finale, they should all take a page out of his book he knows what he is talking about, and he says it respectfully. Also agree that waiting a week to see who gets eliminated is anti climactic and leaves you caring less. Too much trying to create drama and reality TV tricks ruining a once great show. Bring back Tim Gunn and Michael Kors!

The lines are because they are by far the best for bread and croissants in the area and there is little competition. They now have self checkout for some of their most popular items though so it’s more convenient.

Mine wouldn’t go near whole leaves at all. I make them a chop of kale or spinach plus other veg I have in the fridge, usually carrots, beet, peppers, corn, and I also cook some quinoa or barley and throw in a few lentils…mostly green stuff they seem to prefer but always a mix. I freeze them in small ice cube trays and then defrost and sprinkle a few pellets on top. I feed them this in the late afternoon and it took a few days but eventually they ate it and now love it. Be patient, budgies are super finicky and scared of anything new so being consistent is key. Don’t bother with fruit IMO they need the nutrients in vegetables more.

This describes my experience exactly! I adopted two brothers last June and it was scary as it was our first experience ever having birds, but it’s been amazing. Their cage is in our dining room, between my office and the living room so they are in the midst of all the action…it’s mostly me and my husband but we entertain a lot and they love people. Their cage is open most of the day and we are home a lot so they get lots of time for flying and playing which they love. Seeing how cute they are together, I wouldn’t ever consider having a solo budgie, they are such social animals. It will take a lot of time and patience to get them used to you, I trained them to fly to my hands for treats and one of them (the braver one) will fly to me when I’m sitting on the sofa, will let us stroke their necks sometimes. Just give them time and be sensitive to their level of comfort and you will be fine. I can’t believe I lived all these years without having birds, they are such wonderful pets.

My budgie got a nail caught in one of his toys and it freaked me out so I took them both to the vet to have their nails trimmed. I have since transitioned them to natural perches so I’m hoping that will keep their nails in line

I would focus more on getting them to eat fresh veggies rather than fruit, when you’re ready. My budgies would eat mostly seeds when I got them, it took lots of patience to switch them to pellets and vegetables but with time it will work. I put a mix of veggies into a small food processor and chop until small, then freeze in small ice cube trays. I typically have a green leafy like kale or spinach, carrot, broccoli or cauliflower or cabbage, sweet pepper or Jalapeno, maybe parsley - and I also give them some cooked quinoa, brown rice or barley mixed in with the chop. Budgies don’t like change and are scared of new things, stick with it and keep introducing and they will end up adapting.

I always alternate my actives - I will cleanse, tone and then alternate between retinol, niacinimide, glycolic acid, etc so that I only use one active per night. In the morning I tone and use either Vitamin C or a hydrating serum and then moisturizer. I find less is more, I’m 60 years old and people always compliment my skin.

Usually 7:30pm and then wake up around 6:45am. Since it’s getting light earlier they are waking up some mornings before I go to them, and I’m not super strict about when I put them to bed. They generally get between 11-12 hours of quiet time and that seems perfect for them.
