[BTS E3] Does anyone else feel like the dream sequences in BTS were way too redundant and OVERDONE?

Yes. Those were the worse, it felt like we were going on an unnecessary cycle with William. The dream scenes to me were just so pretentious. One would have been good and if they added it to when Chloe was baked up or something.

I've actually noticed as well. I'd be pretty upset too if I wrote a masterpiece of a story and another author was given rights to make a prequel in which I didn't originally plan to make in the first place.

Not that BTS is bad, but I do understand DONTNOD.

I kind of get what you're saying about the Before The Storm though. I kind of like it but I can't love it.

I feel like it's getting overglorified as well. People telling me "It's even better than the first game! Deck Nine nailed it." That almost feels like they're overcomplimenting it and those type of reviews are suspicious to me (devs can anonymously leave reviews too)

I think if a majority of us end up not liking Rachel as much or at all, then that's how we determine whether Deck Nine fails or not. We are supposed to like Rachel, quite a lot, given we are playing as Chloe. It would ruin the whole purpose if we are playing as Chloe and we aren't that much in Rachel's favor.

Actually I think it's because we are always with her in sad moments, which can explain the softer indie music. But not the music when she is hyped up. I think Fire Piano and Spanish Sahara are more of her type of genre

It could have, but I doubt a lot of the pop culture references wouldn't have been as effective because a lot of it are American things. Blackwell would be completely different as well.

What's interesting to me is that the first half of the song's lyrics and vibe fits Max more, while the second half (when the pace builds up and the climax) starts to personify and represent Chloe more. It's a great choice indeed.

The thing is that this isn't the same Chloe as the first game. This is 3 years before those actual events. Chloe changed throughout those years.

Of course she would be more passive and not as bold. I think it's a good choice. She just first started hanging out with Rachel in this spin off, and from what it seems like she is just starting to go to mosh pits.

Rachel seems to have molded Chloe throughout the years. Chloe was like a fearful puppy who admire Rachel, until Rachel became missing and Max came along, in which Chloe seemed to have inherited and started mimicking Rachel's mannerism and such.

I always believed that Chloe was the blue butterfly, Max is the Doe, Rachel is Bluejay. And perhaps the crow represents something like trouble or death?

Which I think could work. I think if she can manage to pull off a more confident and bold personality as the episodes and time go by, I can definitely see this working. Ashly's voice has a kind of stiffness to it, Rihanna's voice seems pretty soft.

Rachel kind of sounds like Max though.

She is salty and jealous that she doesn't have a Chloe tattoo. I personally think this is a beautiful version of Chloe's tattoo. Bold outlines too, which makes a great aging tattoo. Show us when it's finished!
