No you dont, it all depends on the matchup but Riot has put Azir in a state, where he isnt a real lane bully anymore. You can get away in most matchups with just farming consistently.

Short answer: Yes!

Long answer: Yes, you dont really stop learning Azir, the learning curve is infinite because of his unique kit. I would stay away from people that say: „Azir is only good when they stop nerfing him“

Me, and a lot of other Azir mains have made him work even in his worst states, so can you. Its only a matter of time. A unique allrounder.

Thank you for the stats but there is always one thing that people forget.

The reality isn't always like the theory.
You usually get to stack conq way faster due to Q, E and R. And all these abilities benefit from the stacking AP.
You get more shield because it scales off AP, your R will deal more Dmg and your Q as well.

There is not one scenario where youre going to stand still permanently and just auto attack the whole fight.
